I still don’t believe he’s the leak, but I need to consult with Olivia. I have to keep her in the loop with all of this, no matter how much it may worry her.

She sits behind her office, chewing on a Chinese dumpling, and I smile down at her, shutting the door behind me.

“Did you find something?”

“Not exactly. I met with Roland.”

She stiffens. “Roland has nothing to do with this.”

“Maybe not, but it’s his key code that’s being used. I had to follow up.”

“And?”

I hate the fear in her face. “And nothing. He lost the card, but?—”

“He’s just flighty. It doesn’t mean anything. He’s always been a bit ditzy.”

“Still, we work with sensitive information here, Olivia.”

“I’ll talk to him. But I don’t want him wrapped up in this.”

I raise an eyebrow and think of telling her that if he had never lost his card, we wouldn’t be in this mess. But that won’t help matters.

Roland is one of her closest friends, and I know he wouldn’t do this. She’s right. He’s just flaky.

She still looks nervous, and I get up, coming around the desk to pull her into my arms. She stands up, pressing her face into my chest.

I rub my hands down her back to soothe her.

“Damien,” she murmurs, and it sends an ache right down my cock.

“Yes, sweetheart?”

“I need you.” Her words come out in a tumble of a breath and when I look down at her, she’s breathing hard, her chest heaving.

“Right now? Right here?”

“Wouldn’t be the first time.” She toys with the buttons of my vest.

I glance behind us and then move to draw the curtains, locking the door.

She gets up on the desk, spreading her thighs, and I glimpse her white, cotton panties.

My throat goes dry.

“Hurry, hurry.” She brings me closer by looping her thumbs in my belt loops.

She frees me from my slacks, pumping me with her fist, and I take a harsh breath, thrusting into her hand.

God, I always want her so badly. It’s like being addicted, but to a person’s body.

To her heart, too.

I slide her panties off and tuck them into my pocket.

She raises an eyebrow.

“A souvenir.”
