We say it together and nothing has ever felt more divine than in that moment as we fall into bliss together. Making us complete.

“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Mea Divina.Marry me?”

Epilogue – Even When the Earth Stops Turning

Davina

One year later…

The sun warms my skin as I lay on the sun lounger, reading a book.

Everything is exactly how I always wanted it to be, peaceful and tranquil. I let my mind wander back to our wedding last week, just the two of us in a private ceremony on the beach. Blaze was in a soft cream linen shirt and shorts, barefoot and with his buttons open to show off the beautiful tan of his skin, his tattoos peeking out and giving me a glimpse of the hard muscles underneath. I’m instantly aroused at the thought of my husband.

Husband.

I grin to myself. I’m so in love with him. I never thought it was possible to fall so hard for someone and continue to discover things I love about them. I remember the words he whispered to me when I stood before him that day.

“You have ruined me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I thought I would save you, but it ismewho’s been rescued from the dark to dance in the sun with you by my side. Your heartbeats in time with mine. Our souls are forever intertwined. I will never stop loving you, not even after the world stops turning and we are nothing but dust ready to be born again amongst the stars. I love you. You were made just for me, Mea Divina.”

We both had tears in our eyes while we exchanged vows, promising ourselves to each other. My mind skips to that evening, to the bed on the balcony where we made love to each other under the stars. His soft caresses and his beautiful words wrapped in ‘I love you’s’ made me feel like we were no longer on earth. We shattered together in that bed and rebuilt ourselves over and over again until the sun came up. There isn’t a single part of me that isn’t his, and it’s intoxicating. I have never been happier, and it’s all because of him.

“What are you smiling about, love?”

“Mmm,” I moan at his gravelly voice.

“Careful, love. Keep making noises like that and we’ll skip breakfast and have dessert instead.”

I shiver, my eyes finding his as I bite my lip and flutter my eyelashes at him.

“No!’ He chuckles, “We can’t skip another meal, as much as I love eating your pussy every second of the day, it’s not going to stop us being hungry.”

I clench my thighs together. “But you’re so good at it, baby.”

“Stop playing dirty!”

I giggle and his grin splits his face. I love these playful moments between us. He settles the tray he is carrying on the table next to me and takes a seat on my sun lounger. He picks up a fork, breaking off a piece of the chocolate chip pancakes he made—still my favourite—and he feeds me. I moan again.

“Do they taste good, my love?”

I nod and place a soft kiss on his lips. I take the fork from him, cutting off a bite to feed him. I shake my head from theway my eyes are glued to his throat when he swallows. Eating shouldn’t be sexy, but it is when it’s him—everything he does is sexy to me. I kiss him again.

“What are you doing, love? I made these for you.”

“I know, but I don’t want you to get hungry.”

I go to feed him again, but he grips my wrist with his large hand, his hold soft as his thumb strokes the inside of my wrist.

“I’ve got my own, let me feed you first.”

He pulls my hand to his mouth and places a soft kiss on the back of it.

“Eat with me, Blaze. I can’t have you eating cold pancakes on your own. Please?”

I bat my eyelashes again at him playfully, knowing he won’t be able to deny me. His warm chuckle makes me giggle.

“Anything for you, Mea Divina.Anything.”

His eyes don’t waver from mine as he speaks, the love and promise I find in them are a drug I can’t get enough of. He kisses me soft and slow, our tongues tangling and the hint of chocolate tasting decadent on his tongue.
