“Fuck my mouth,” I say while raising his hips up with my hands. I hollow my cheeks and take him until I gag, but I don’t stop. Relaxing, I swallow around his dick as it slips deeper. Trent finally starts pumping his hips, and I allow him to take complete control. Needing some relief, I remove one hand and quickly unzip my jeans. Tears are racing down my face every time he hitsthe back of my throat, but I don’t care. I start palming my own dick, needing to get off.

“Oh my god,” Trent says. I feel his muscles tense at the same time my balls draw up, and I come all over my hand and the blanket. “Shawn, I’m gonna—” He doesn’t even finish his sentence before his dick swells, and he comes down my throat. I swallow as much as I can. Trent’s hands fall from my hair, and instantly, I miss them.

I slowly lick up every drop of cum off his spent dick before crawling up his body. The moment my dick brushes against his, it twitches, but I pay it no attention. I’m focused on Trent’s eyes and his face. Both have lost the hard edge that has been there for days, and I smile because that’s what I wanted. Trent wraps his arms around me and turns us so we are lying side by side.

“That was amazing,” he says sleepily. He looks down at my dick, which is starting to grow harder with the attention. “I didn’t?—”

I silence him with a soft kiss. “Tonight wasn’t about me. I wanted to take you to a place where you could relax and be at peace for a short amount of time.”

Trent smiles and moves to lie on his back, bringing my head to rest on his chest. “You definitely did that. It’s beautiful out here.”

I look up at the million stars and think that while they are beautiful, Trent’s presence makes this so much better. Kissing his chest, I say, “They’re okay but not as beautiful as you.”

Twenty-Nine

TRENT

October ended with all of us dressed up in costumes, trick or treating what felt like the whole town. Parker, Zak, and Shawn decorated a trailer that Adam pulled behind his truck through town. All the adults were as excited as the kids to sit on the back, jamming out to spooky music and throwing out candy to the onlookers. Betty and April decided to stay in town and joined us, which everyone loved. Maria was invited but was swamped with work and couldn’t make it. She wasn’t the only one who wasn’t there. Boe Aldridge was invited, but he had a big test the following Monday and decided to skip the festivities in order to study. I haven’t had the chance to meet him yet, but I will soon.

November kicked off with a big decision for Shawn. For the first time, I found myself worrying about our relationship.

The front door closes right as I hang up the phone with Demon. Since finding Tom’s real identity, we all thought it would be smooth sailing. We believed we would find him quickly and end this, but that hasn’t happened. There hasn’t been any hit on hisreal name in over thirteen years. It’s as if he died, but no one reported it. Joe and Jerry agreed to go check out the properties for us and to poke around each town to see if anyone new has shown up. So far, the one in Washington turned up nothing, but they haven’t reported back about the one in Florida.

“Trent,” Shawn calls out, and like I always do, I smile at the sound of his voice. My heart fills almost to the point of bursting like a balloon. Nothing makes me happier than when Shawn, Harley, and I are all here together making this house a home. I love it. I love them.

“In the kitchen.” Standing up from the table, I head toward the archway leading into the small hallway. Leaning against the frame, I cross my arms and take him in. He has been in Cape since yesterday, and I’ve hated every second of it. Everything feels colder when he isn’t around.

Shawn pulls his coat off and hangs it up on the small rack we bought at a flea market together. My eyes lock on the small strip of exposed skin at his waist, and I bite my lips to keep the groan silent. Images of him stripping for my entertainment last night flood my vision, and I’m instantly hard. When he texted me and told me to look at the cameras still installed in the apartment, I thought something was wrong.

Nothing was wrong besides the fact that I was over a hundred miles away from him. Watching him slowly strip out of his clothes made me crazy. The moment that he moaned my name while teasing a finger in his hole, I became feral. It was the hottest thing I have ever witnessed, and when I came to the sight of him riding his fingers and jerking off, I almost blacked out.

“I think the weather guy is wrong, and we will get hit by the storm coming in. It’s freezing outside and the clouds look heavy,” Shawn says, taking off his shoes, giving me a lovely view of his round ass. “I feel you looking at me. Like something you see?” He looks over his shoulder and winks at me.

“You know I do,” I growl while stalking forward and slapping one cheek then the next. He straightens up and wastes no time throwing himself at me. His lips are like ice when he presses them against mine, but they warm up quickly as I lick, bite, and suck them. “God, I missed you.”

“I missed you, too,” Shawn says, pulling back after kissing my nose. “But there is something I need to talk to you about.”

The way my heart skips a beat scares me. Even though I knew this moment was coming, it doesn’t mean that I’m ready for it. The apartment building is finally done, and Shawn went back to help his tenants move back in. Plus, he had to check up on his other business. Luckily, nothing else has gone wrong in his absence, but we all know he wouldn’t be a good business owner if he stays away. I will never ask him to choose between his jobs and us, but there is no way that I can move Harley away from this town. She absolutely loves it here, and I’m not about to take that away. She has made so many friends, friends who have come to see our house as a safe haven. I swear there are always teenagers over, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Okay, that’s a lie. There is one teenager I would love to kick out and forbid him from returning. Andie Wright. I don’t like how he looks at Harley, like she hung the moon and stars for him. I don’t think she notices it, but I do, and each time I want to rip his head off. At first, I wasn’t worried because I thought she was gay, but turns out she’s bi, and I do have something to worry about. I swear if that little fucker…

“Trent, you okay?” Shawn’s worried voice pulls me from envisioning murdering a sixteen-year-old. “You just growled. What are you thinking about?”

I pull on our joined hands and walk into the living room. “Andie Wright,” I say as I plop down on the couch.

Shawn settles next to me and laughs. “I told you it’s an innocent crush.”

I shoot him a look and say sternly, “I don’t like it.”

He laughs again and kisses my cheek. “I love when you get into your protective daddy mode. It turns me on.”

“Really.” I look down and see the bulge in his jeans. “I can work with that,” I say, reaching forward, needing to have my hands on him. Since he gave me the best blow job of my life two weeks ago, we haven’t gotten to either one of us being inside the other, and it’s time that changes.

Shawn pushes my hand away and says, “Later, big boy. Right now, we need to discuss Cape and my business.”

All the lust boiling away under my skin instantly disappears. I lean my head back and shut my eyes. “I know. I don’t like it as much as I don’t like Andie Wright, but I know.”

“Will you please look at me?”
