Wesley groaned, “Let me guess, it’s complicated? Would this have to do with her double name situation?” I nodded. Melanie walked over to the rock and rubbed it. Dylan sighed, “OH THE QUESTIONS! THEY EXPAND AND SPARK INTO SO MANY OTHER QUESTIONS! Someone tell me how she knew how to do that? Someone?” He glanced at Seirra who ignored him.

He shouted, “Anyone?” He whispered, “I’m looking at you missy miss. I know you feel my stare with your Beta blood.” She still didn’t answer him, and Phil shot him a warning glare. Dylan sighed, “No one? GREAT! This is the place where answers go to die. My brain hurts. It actually does. Someone google how to scratch an itch on your brain.”

I linked Phil, “Show Sierra where my office is.” I popped to my mate and calmed her down. I spoke to Sierra out loud using her alias. Dylan shrieked, “SAMANTHA?! Are we for real right now? Are we just blatantly ignoring parental given birth names?! I think we are.”

Wesley linked, “Come on. Even I know Phil’s mate’s name is Sierra Kiern.” I replied, “I’m aware that you know that. You are tested on Alpha, Beta, and Gamma families.” He’d probably just assumed it made sense Sierra was with my mate since I told him her name was Ashley Griffen.

Dylan warned, “Do NOT get any ideas Buttercup and Wesley. Those are your names. ALWAYS. No one can take my genius move to make sure you were mated from me!” No one said anything. Dylan threw his hands in the air, “All you yes men with your lack of questions ANNOY my Beta blood.”

He turned to my cousin, “Beta Phil, you know things, don’t you? You’d have to or you’d be right here with me.” Phil sighed, “I’ve got my own questions, but I do have more answers than you.” Dylan growled, “This one,” pointing at Phil, “he has been trying to get the scoop on me since...”

He trailed off then shouted, “OH MY GOD!” Yeah, Ashley was where this went south. Aesir must have had a hand in Phil getting a source about his future Luna. He grumbled, “You have GOT to be kidding me. All roads lead ONE place and I don’t LIKE IT!” He could get in fucking line.

I made a motion with my hands for everyone to be quiet. I pulled Melanie into me trying to push my need to claim her off. Dylan warned, “Oh no you don’t. I know that look. I’ve seen it on your dad's face a lot. NO SIR! BAD Moody Triplet!” I shot him a look.

He warned, “There are questions we CAN get answers to, and you have to get them before you spend DAYS locked in a room with her. Don’t you do it. If you do, there’s LITERALLY nothing I can do about it, so JOY TO US ALL! Find that DNA of your mothers in there. Do it for the team! Or your brother, who is my son in law, he is CONFUSED!” I could do it for Wesley.

I let Melanie go to her friend. Once Sierra closed the door to my office with Melanie inside, I turned around and focused. Dylan pointed at Phil saying, “EVER since Ashley Griffen came onto the scene you, Mr. Phil, were getting the scoop on me. ALL roads lead to SUCH bad places with this. I don’t like it.”

I told him, “You literally already said that. Not even that long ago.” Dylan pointed at me now, “Do you see what you’ve done to me?! I’m in repeating mode.” I rolled my eyes. Dylan asked, “Wes, why did you bring us to the gym?! RIP my sanity. It is all gone. I have so many questions now.” I heard a pop.

Angela smirked at me and everyone else. She looked at Claire boasting, “I told you so, you psycho. I warned you that you were heading for an ass kicking.” She kicked her in the ribs and hugged me. Then she popped away.

Dylan squealed, “OH MY SWEET BABY JESUS, CLAIRE! YOU MADE ANGELA MAD! Angela, the sweetest little person that all Conners and Holloran men bow down before. Along with the Cambridge men, and LORD has that number multiplied!”

“The Creepy Ninja Assassins are lucky their grandpa is the former King or all sixty some odd of them would have no presents for Christmas.” He would bring up Christmas. He fake pouted, “It would be sad. GOD, I can’t wait to hear the nickname my goddess comes up with for you Ms. Claire.”

“I really can’t. That’s what is getting me through this right now. My goddess will have such EPIC speeches about this whole scenario. You’re ALL in for it. I’ll be there too with literal bells, on eating popcorn and drinking whiskey. In fact, I’ll have a whole barrel to drink and I’m not sharing.” I winced knowing he was not wrong.

I looked at Claire and asked, “What was that thing you dropped? Why couldn’t I get in?” Claire cried, “This random Witch gave it to me. She told me that it would come in handy if I needed to be safe from you for a time.”

I questioned, “What Witch?” Claire admitted, “I don’t know she came up to me in the market.” Damn it! I needed Cassie, but I couldn’t call her. I asked Claire, “Why do you want to be my Luna?” Claire sobbed, “Please heal me. Everything hurts and I can’t move.”

I laughed, “There is literally no chance I’ll heal you. Someone will take you back to your pack and directly to your Alpha. Where you will await your trial. You harmed me in my home. You could’ve hurt any of my siblings with that THING you had. You were working with Ring Witches.”

Claire gasped, “No, I….” I raised an eyebrow interrupting, “They are the only ones who ever use things that my siblings or I can’t get into.” Dylan boasted, “I gave him that tidbit. Me. That was my thought, I’m just saying. All Dylan right there. I am still listened to. Partially. Well, not really. Just that one thing.” I rolled my eyes.

I asked the group, “Can someone pop Dylan to explain to Alpha Theo the situation we have here?” Dylan squealed, “ME?! I take it all back. I love you, Moody Triplet. You have found your mother’s DNA in you. What are my parameters?”

I replied, “Theo knows Ashley so you can tell him it was her that did this.” Dylan gleefully said, “Oh the clues and trail I SHALL give my good buddy Beta James and Alpha Theo.” I told him, “Ask Alpha Theo if he could keep this quiet and contained until I get back from my mission. Let him know that’s when we will bring her here and discuss it with him.”

Dylan smiled asking, “And when he asks why said trial is not now?” I shrugged, “I’m sure you’ll come up with something fun for the reason.” Dylan’s eyes sparkled, “Will I EVER! Come on son in law of mine. Pop us all away.”

“I have webs and tales to weave. Today has turned around. I am still VERY worried, but now fun is afoot! Everything that happened here is a tomorrow problem. Such a LARGE tomorrow problem, but off in the tomorrow box it goes! Now, popping to Alpha Theo we go! NO wait!”

Dylan pulled out his phone and sent a text. He smiled, “Let’s just let that marinate for a few minutes.” His phone began to ring repeatedly while I lifted an eyebrow. Dylan told me, “I have to warn a Beta brother when fun things are about to happen.”

“It’s more fun this way. If they don’t know something is coming, when you pop in you just don’t have the same moment of ‘I KNOW SOMETHING YOU DO NOT KNOW!’ power. HAHA SUCKERS! Plus, my brain is upset about the lack of answers. I have to have my Beta brothers join me in that. It’s vital to keeping us all insane together.”

I snorted asking, “What did you say to Beta James?” Dylan cooed, “Have no fear, Moody Triplet. I came up with something as you directed.” He started dancing, which actually made me laugh. Buttercup bit her lip when her phone started ringing.

She answered, “Hi, James. Well, we’ll have to explain in person. No, my dad, Wes and I are coming. No, Wes isn’t staying. He’ll have to come right back. I’ll just call him when we are done talking to come get us.” She hung up. I knew Wesley had charmed her phone which is why I couldn’t hear what Beta James said.

I turned to the people there. I reiterated, “No one will talk about this until I do within hearing distance of ANYONE not in this gymnasium. No one will say that Ashley Griffen was here, or who she is to me. Understood?” I’d made it an Alpha Command, so I did know they’d follow what I said earlier, I just wanted to be perfectly clear.

I knew everyone here was confused but they respected me. Liam spoke, “We are very proud of the future Luna of Black Mountain. She is an excellent fighter and handled herself well.” Dylan nudged me, “He suspects things he should not about a certain pack. He’s mad, I can tell. Stoic that one. He won’t say anything though. Just to me when we CHAT later, Pookie Bear. We have THINGS to discuss with each other.”

I dryly said, “I never questioned for one second whether Liam would talk.” I gave Dylan a pointed look. He gasped, “I feel this is all directed at me. I’ll have you know my gift of gab has solved many a situation.”
