“Should we just take this into the living room?” Dean asks, glancing over at me. “Did you pick a movie?”

“Uh—no, I didn’t. You pick.” I smile.

“I’m sure we can find something. I have a whole stack of blue-rays.”

I start to giggle a little. “I didn’t even know those existed anymore.”

Dean narrows his eyes playfully. “I guess I’m just old school. It would cost a fortune to get internet out here. I’m surprised I can get cell service way out here.”

“It seems to be worth the inconvenience.”

Shit. I’m doing what I try so hard to avoid.

Small talk.

I’m nervous as hell.

Almost as if Malachi can sense my slight discomfort, he grabs my hand and rubs his thumb over the top. “Let’s go pick our spots,” he says.

I get up and nearly fall over when I realize my foot is half asleep from me crossing my legs and squeezing them together so hard.

“You okay?” Malachi asks, helping me balance.

“Yeah, my legs don’t work apparently,”

Once we get into the living room, anxiety hits me out of nowhere and my knees go completely weak.

I pick a spot to sit on the large leather L shaped couch in the corner of the room, while Jeremy and Sammi take a seat on the love seat on the other side.

I smile when Dean grabs a leather CD case and brings it to where Malachi and I are sitting.

“I think there’s at least fifty movies in this one. I have four more. I figured this one might be better for the occasion.”

When I open the case and look at the first movie, I start to laugh.

Ten Inch Hero

“I swear, I didn’t know that was there,” Dean chuckles, taking a seat on the other side of me with a smirk on his face.

The very second I feel his warmth beside me, my clit starts to throb. There’s no fucking way we’re going to get very far in this movie.

“Imean,it’salittle fitting, wouldn’t you say?” Malachi grins, reaching for the throw blanket on the back of the couch.

I flip through the DVDs and decide to close my eyes, going with whatever one I point to when I open them.

As luck would have it, I end up pointing to “The Girl Next Door”.

I let out a half-laugh. “Of course…”

“That’s a cult classic,” Malachi says as I hand the DVD to Dean and he gets up to put it in the machine.

When he sits back down beside me, Malachi drapes the throw blanket over all three of us and my heart starts to race through my chest.

I can feel my body heat rising, and my heavy breathing catches Malachi’s attention almost right away.

“Breathe, baby girl,” he whispers, leaning in close to my ear.

I turn and flash him a smile.
