“That sounds good, actually…” Dean replies.

Him and I take off up to the main cabin, grab the hot dogs and some beer and make our way back down to the beach, surprised to find our cabin light on and Nikki absent from the beach.

“She probably got cold…” Dean insists.

“I’ll go check on her.”

When I walk through the door, I see Nikki curled up on the bed, fast asleep.

I smile and close the door behind me, not wanting to wake her after everything we’ve put her body through in the last few hours alone.

“I think we exhausted her.” I laugh, walking up to the lit fire where Dean’s standing.

“Poor girl, we’re turning her into a free-use plaything.” He grins, handing me a beer.

I open it, take a swig and let out a heavy sigh.

“Like I said… We’ve created a monster who loves being violated.”

I don’t think either of us are complaining though.

“Nikki,baby.Openyoureyes for me… You’re okay…”

My eyes fly open as I hear Malachi’s voice. I sit up and let out a silent scream, my face wet with tears.

“We heard you screaming from the beach. What were you dreaming about?”

I open my mouth to speak, but only a loud whimper comes out. I watch Dean walk into the bathroom, coming back out and handing me a cold cloth.

Malachi grabs it and places it over my chest. “Breathe, baby girl, we got you,” he whispers, kissing the top of my forehead.

I can’t seem to move my body and my breathing is shallow and rapid. Tears are still streaming down my cheeks, even though I’m not fully awake. I don’t even know what I was dreaming about in the first place. Something has taken over my mind and body and I fucking hate it.

“Should we take her somewhere?” I hear Dean whisper as Malachi holds my head to his chest.

“She’ll be okay—you’re okay, baby. We’re right here,” he replies.

I’m aware of what’s going on around me, but I can’t seem to respond to anything.

“I’ll call Jeremy; Sammi will know what to do, I think.”

Moments later, I hear Jeremy answer the phone. “Your car is still in one—” he begins to say before Malachi cuts him off.

“Where is Sammi? I think Nikki is having a panic attack. I’m not sure what to do…”

Suddenly, Sammi speaks up in the background. “A bath. Run her a cold bath. As cold as you can get it.”

“That won’t hurt her?” Dean asks.

“No, it’ll snap her out of it. She’s had this happen before, but its usually when she’s sleeping,”

“She was. Dean and I were down at the beach when we heard her screaming.”

“Fuck. Keep me on the phone.”

I hear the taps turn on and before I know it, I’m being lifted into Malachi’s arms with Dean supporting my head as they take me into the bathroom and place me down into the water. Immediately, I gasp and take a deep breath, focusing in on the water flowing from the tap in front of me.

“Anything yet?” Sammi asks.
