“Somehow, he knows?” Talon answered this.
“How though?” Redemption asked. “How does he know she’s gone?”
Then men shook their heads.
“Someone had to have told him?” I suggested.
They all again looked over at me.
“Like he has someone here?” Talon growled. “On the inside?”
I shrugged. “I’m sorry. But it’s the only thing that makes sense?”
Chapter Three:Under The Porch
Prophet
Redemption looked angry as he agreed with Jewel’s suggestion. “We might have a mole right here on the ranch.”
“Everyone here is family,” Logan said. “And all the Rebel Saints have been with the club for a long time.”
“There are new members though,” Redemption said as he looked over at Hawk. “Right? The charter you started here.”
“No way man,” Hawk retorted. “They are men I’ve known since I was a kid.”
I didn’t like where this was going and it wasn’t gonna help my dad. Maybe somehow, Deacon had other ways of knowing what was happening on the ranch. I looked over at Logan. “You said, he got your URL, right?”
Logan nodded.
“Could he somehow have gotten into you PC?” I asked.
Logan stared at me. “I have the best firewalls in the world. The same as the Pentagon uses.”
“Yes, but this man is or was in the FBI,” I reminded him. “Right?”
“If anyone could do it…” Liv said as she came into the barn. “It would be Deacon. In fact, he may have even been the guy who built the very firewall Logan is using. He specialized in hacking. Infiltrating foreign entities like China and Iran and they never even knew it.”
Logan kept shaking his head. “I will go in and see if this happened.”
“Ace is the best at what he does,” Talon defended Logan as he glared at his sister.
“And so is Deacon,” Liv replied. “All he did for his entire career was to find ways to get in and not be detected. He could bypass any firewall, because he makes them, Talon.”
“Fuck!” Talon seethed.
“Yeah, I know that rage, brother,” Liv said. “I still haven’t gotten over his smirking face telling us how he got one over on us.”
“That would explain how he knew to leave the Connor House just before we got there,” Redemption suggested.
Everyone went silent.
I nodded. “So, let’s just accept the fact that he knows everything.” I looked over at Logan. “You had O on video feed.”
He nodded but he looked troubled by this possibility.
“So, he saw what happened between her and Rip,” Redemption said.
“Are there any cams on in here now?” I asked Logan.
