Raven steps forward. “Do you know how many times we’ve saved the world or the academy or just people in general?”

She tightens her hands into fists. I shoot Greyson a pointed look to grab her before she does something crazy like pull her ax out and attack the idiot alpha.

“Easy, babe.” Greyson wraps his arms around Raven and pulls her back to his chest.

“Why? He’s being an asshole. We have fought worse than this. We fought fucking Typhon in the damn underworld,” she growls.

“Typhon?” Randall asks.

“Yeah, a fucking eons-old Titan that’s been locked in the base of a mountain since the Olympians won the war against them.” I tap Jayden’s arm and his hands drop to my hips.

“What?” Randall asks.

He glances between us all with shock in his eyes. Why is he so shocked? We already told him we’re demigods.

“Seriously? We don’t have time for this. We will capture the damn bulls with or without your help.” I toss my hair over my shoulder and turn around to get back in the SUV.

I’m done with the back and forth. We were asked to do this from someone much more important than this alpha asshole.

“Beth, wait, please,” Greyson calls to me. “He just doesn’t believe you are what you are.”

“That’s his problem, not mine. Tristian was easier to convince than this guy.” I shake my head but stop walking away.

“Seriously, she showed you her power and you still doubt us?” Raven scoffs.

“Maybe that wasn’t enough.” I touch the lightning bolt on my necklace and unfurl my whip.

“Beth…” Jayden says.

“I’m not going to do anything with it. I’m irritated but he’s not a monster.” I grip the whip tighter in my hand and call my magic.

The whip crackles with white-hot electricity and the wolves all jump away from me.

“What the fuck?” Randall yells.

Raven produces her huge battle ax from the ether, and the entire group of wolves glance between us, their bodies stiffening and nervousness radiating from them.

That got their fucking attention.

“What have you gotten yourself mixed up in Greyson?” Randall asks.

“Don’t talk about them like they’re evil.” Greyson steps in front of Raven, his hands planted on his hips.

“Are they witches?” Randall asks.

I roll my eyes. “We told you what we are. I’m the daughter of Zeus.”

“You’re all crazy. The Greek gods are a myth.” Randall steps back.

“You turn into a wolf whenever you want and you’re telling me I’m crazy.” I touch the charm again and my whip disappears.

Raven’s ax disappears into the ether as she steps around Greyson and pats his shoulder. “It’s all good, mate.”

“Mate? You’re kidding, right? I don’t see any marks on her.” Randall eyes Raven.

Greyson growls and pulls her into his side. “She’s my mate and we haven’t gone that far yet.”

Randall looks away and tilts his head to the side, baring his neck.
