“Move, Karvik.”
My hips jerked at her command, eliciting a groan of pure pleasure from both of us. I did it again, my movements halting and unsure.
But after a time, I became surer in my actions, mostly from Juniper’s exuberant shouts. Slow and steady became fast and frenzied, until I was jerking into her like the beast I feared I was.
“Yes, like that! Harder, Karvik, I’m going to come!”
Any harder, and I would break my mate, but I couldn’t stop if I tried. Her sex was hotter than the sun’s rays beating down on me in summer, and then, Juniper’s back arched off the ground.
With a scream, she tossed back her head, her tiny hand rubbing herself just above where my saroque disappeared inside of her.
“I’m coming!”
Her sex fluttered around me, as if they were butterfly wings taking off for flight, and the sensation spurred my own reaction.
My hips flexed and my saroque throbbed, pulsing in time to the quivering of my mate, before I found my own release.
The entirety of my body shook from the physical release and the sheer beauty of our union, and I nearly collapsed.
Rolling to my side, I tugged Juniper into my arms, carefully checking her for injuries when I remembered my wild ways.
Even though we were still joined, she didn’t look bruised or smell afraid. In fact, her skin fairly glowed with the lovely flush only her kind could get.
But then I noticed the tears on her face.
“Little one, are you hurt?”
“No, Karvik. These aren’t pain tears. They’re happy tears. That…was amazing.”
My chest puffed up in pride. “You were amazing, my mate. Thank you. I have never felt such…completion.”
Juniper sent me a mischievous look. “Feel free to feel complete inside of me whenever you want.”
I laughed. “This is why the newly mated were never productive, I’m now realizing.”
“Oh, we’ll be productive…”
Another chuckle burst from inside of me. “You make me so happy, my mate.”
“You’re my soul mate. We’re supposed to make each other happy. Now, come cuddle me!”
I wasn’t sure what a ‘soul mate’ was, but I couldn’t ignore her demand for the wrapping of our bodies together.
Eventually, Juniper’s breath evened out, and I knew she had fallen asleep. I held her there in the quiet aftermath of our union.
The world around us seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of us in this serene moment, and I marveled at the peacefulness that our bond created inside of me.
One claw traced the curve of Juniper's spine with a feather-light touch, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath it.
I brushed a tender kiss across Juniper's forehead, a silent promise of my devotion. The darkness within me had found its match in the light of her spirit.
Together, our bond created something beautiful. It was unbreakable, and I would do anything for my mate.
I had gifted her with my saroque, but she had given me her heart.
