“Are you a club fox or club slut who had been hoping and waiting to become Ruthless’s OL’ Lady?”
“I’ve known Ruthless for years. And if you are his OL’ Lady, you’ve only been around for what three days?”
Her friend laughs.
“It doesn’t matter how long we’ve known each other. He made it known he wanted me. The biker has no intentions of ever letting me go.”
She stumbles back at the truth. Maybe it was the ever part that fucked her up.
“Know this. Mavis Ruthless Marticon is my fucking man. If you think I’m afraid of any of you I’m fucking not,” I roar over the music.
This is a brave move on my part because I’m new here. They could try to stomp me into the ground. I’d defend myself not ever backing down.
“Do we have a problem here?” a familiar voice says.
They glance at her.
Her face twists in a scowl. “She says she’s Ruthless’s OL’ Lady.”
“Lillian, being nasty to her is not how we act at this club to an OL’ Lady. Club slut you are to respect her,” Tonya spits.
Lillian mouth drops open.
“Marcy and Lillian, if you’d like to continue being a club fox and a club slut respectively, you’ll show OL’ Ladies respect.”
Tonya nods at me. “This is Sophie. Ruthless’s OL’ Lady. You might feel he got with Sophie too fast. You love who you love.”
“Love,” Lillian snorts.
My blood boils. “Aww, what’s the matter? You fucked Ruthless but got no skin to skin contact?” A devilish smirk curls the ends of my lips.
Anger flashes in her blue eyes. “Oh, so you’re bragging now.”
“I’m simply telling you he’s with the person he wants to be with. Me. He’s mine now.” I lean closer. “And I don’t fucking share.”
Her evil gaze roves my skin.
“Oh, and Marcy, don’t worry about cleaning our quarters. I have it under control.”
I smile sweetly, “Nice meeting you, ladies.”
Tonya claps a hand on my back and sits beside me. “You almost got jumped.”
“I would’ve gone down swinging.”
We roar with laughter.
My food is finally placed in front of me. I inhale the seasoned fries. “I love a good burger and fries.”
Tonya rattles off her drink order to Karla.
My heart is in my throat. Mavis has been gone for hours and I haven’t heard anything. It was hard not going to Tonya’s room and asking her if she’d her from Legos.
“Have you heard from Legos?”
She smiles. “No, I haven’t.”
“Right,” I sigh.
