“That’s my girl,” he panted, lifting her right leg to rest on the counter. “You’re becoming something of a voyeur, Evangeline.”

Blushing from head to toe over being called out, she tried to turn away, but Samuel wouldn’t allow it. Gripping her hair, he forced her to watch.

“Don’t be ashamed to look.” He pounded harder, her body jarring heavily from the force of his thrusts. “You’re so beautiful.”

The acoustics in the bathroom were amazing. Like someone had specifically designed the space to amplify the clap of their bodies. Her lips parted, and she moaned loudly, adding to the harmony. “Oh, God.”

A sharp smack on her ass cracked loud enough to echo. “Who?”

Sparks of pleasure coursed through her, and she wiggled for more, even though the tops of her thighs burned from striking the marble countertop again and again. The pain didn’t matter, nor did the marks that would be left behind when they finished. Sore muscles and bruises were small reminders that her body belonged to only him.

“Samuel.”

Another smack, followed by a hand massaging the stinging flesh, had her orgasm rushing forth. Chanting his name, she came, release cascading through her like an avalanche.

Her screams and the feel of her pulsing around him tipped Samuel into a crazed state. Once the last wave rolled over her, he turned her back around, seating Evie on the end of the counter.

“Hold the fuck on.”

Samuel tossed her legs over his upper arms, letting out a steady stream of groans and curses as he surged into her, setting a breakneck pace.

With her knuckles going white from gripping the counter, Evie took the full power of every delicious slam of his body. She watched, like he told her to, licking her lips at the sight of him fucking her.

“I guess I am a voyeur,” she moaned, spreading her legs as wide as she could to see. “So, show me what you can do.”

Hands at her hips, every muscle straining, his thrusts quickened. Evie’s head fell back, completely overtaken by his total possession of her body. This was it. This was—more than anything—what she needed. An unrestrained Samuel, consuming her with absolute devotion. With every strike, he was doing nothing short of searing himself into her soul for all eternity.

The quickening signaling another release crawled low in her belly, fluttering through her until she was whimpering to have it. She moved with him, rocking her hips in time with his. And as he came with a shout, filling her to the brim, Evie joined him. She screamed, set adrift in the endless ecstasy threatening to devour her.

“Don’t ever let me go, Samuel Fairweather.”

He kissed her then, shaking with the last pulls of pleasure as he slowed. “Not a chance. You are mine until there is nothing left of either of us.”

They remained that way for what felt like an eternity. Tasting. Touching. Taking their time to simply be together.

“Thanks for being my stress reliever,” she said when the beating of their hearts regained a normal rhythm. “That was a better cardio workout than running on the stupid sand.”

He gazed down at her through the disheveled black strands of hair nearly covering his eyes. “And much more satisfying.”

“You know what else would be satisfying?” She swiped his hair back to see his face. “Another shower and then coffee.”

Samuel grinned, relaxed and happier than she had ever seen him. “We can do that.”

He carried her to the shower, and they washed up but became distracted again. Her hair was soaking wet by the time they got out.

“Sorry,” Samuel said, drying off. “But you’ve got to admit that was good, too.”

Wrapping a towel around her, Evie rolled her eyes and went into the bedroom to sit on his bed.

Their bed,she reminded herself.

“I’m going to get the coffee,” he told her, stealing a kiss on his way out. “Be back in a second.”

She sat when he was gone, rolling to lay on her side, her eyes roaming around the room. Blank walls, muted colors. Being a part of someone’s life, when you weren’t exactly on the same wavelength in regards to decorating, was going to be interesting. But she was looking forward to seeing how they would come together to make this place a home.

Their home.

You were so lonely when I found you.
