“You’re too good to be a brat.” Riju kissed his neck again.
“I don’t want to be a brat for you.”
Riju cuddled him for a bit more before he sat up and rubbed Kit’s hip. “I don’t like that you’re getting pierced.”
“Why?”
“I know the contract says we can do whatever we like to you, and you agreed to that, but piercing…it’s not the same.” Riju started fixing his trousers. “Trig wrote the contract before you came looking here, and he showed it to me. Where it said you'd accept anything, I thought he meant fucking or tying someone up when he felt like it. You know? The typical stuff. Not piercing. He never mentioned anything about it either.”
Kit shifted onto his back and stretched. “I don’t think I’d ever pick it on my own, but I’m not mad about it.”
Riju squinted at him. “It’s kind of permanent. You’ll have little holes in your body. Nothing else we do is permanent. You won’t be scarred or have marks on you forever from the other stuff.”
“I’m pretty sure small piercing holes can close up later if you don’t keep the jewelry in for a long time, so I could take them out.”
“Mm.”
Kit didn’t think it was that big of a deal even though he wasn’t excited about it. It was kind of permanent, but it wasn’t exactly life-changing either. If he kept the piercings later, no one had to know in the general public since his shirt would hide it. He could also remove them. Riju looked so worried, Kit hurriedly spoke again.
“I might like them. They’re supposed to feel good once they heal, so it could be a fun, new experience for me.”
Riju didn’t appear convinced. “I don’t like how you don’t get a safety word either. That’s been bothering me.”
“Really? It’s kind of important for this.” Kit gestured at the cock cage. “I wouldn’t do it, but what if I fucked Trig over eleven months in?”
“I know. I think having a safety word is more important. Mine’s tomato, and I’ve only had to use it once when Trig tried partial suspension with me. I had to stand on one leg with the other out and tied.”
“You didn’t like it?” Kit had done it before, and he’d enjoyed it.
“My leg had enough support from the ropes, and I knew I wasn’t about to fall, but I didn’t like feeling so unsteady,” said Riju. “I’d rather be tied up on the floor or with both of my feet planted. I felt panicky, so I used my word, and Trig took me down. I think you should have a word too. Oh, and a signal.”
“I feel safe.” Kit sat up. “Besides, I think if I told Trig I had a cramp or something was wrong, he wouldn’t ignore me. I wouldn’t be a good slave if he did something harmful to me, right? I’m alright with being pierced, and who knows? Maybe I’llkeep them.” He kissed Riju’s cheek. “Thanks for letting me in your room. I like my doll too.”
“You can come back again when I say so.”
Chapter Ten
On the night Kit was to get pierced, Riju had to charge lightning channelers since they had sold the last one earlier. Trig didn’t have lightning magic, so he couldn’t do the spell.
In a cleared space in the basement. Riju used chalk and a wooden hoop as a guide to draw a large circle that was about seven feet across. After he finished, Trig took the hoop to lean against the wall behind a shelf so it would stay out of the way. Riju made another circle in the center and drew arrows pointing inward at the north, south, east, and west points of the outer circle. From those, he made a trail of smaller arrows that curved into the smaller one and met in the center. He set the lightning channelers in the inner so the tips all pointed to the center.
They were basic wooden shells with a smooth metal rod that barely poked out of one end. The inside of the shells were filled with moon crystal shards, and the base could be twisted to make the rod come out a little more. It also made the lighting more powerful since the crystal fragments would hold the energy. It could be a tickle or intense enough to make a person squeal.
Kit had experienced it earlier when the customer tested the last one on him. Trig had also taught him that while lightning channelers were pretty safe and wouldn’t be as strong as a fairy’s magic, they shouldn’t be used on anyone who had issues with their circulation or heart.
One of the hooks in the ceiling had a string hanging from it. Kit figured Trig had put it there earlier. Riju took a moon crystal from his pocket and carefully tied the end of the string around it so it dangled a good three feet above the points of the channelers.
Kit was riveted by the sight of the fist-sized item as it sparkled. Moon crystals grew in the ground in certain areas. They had to be soaked in moonlight as much as possible for a few months and protected from sunlight at all times. If not, they were sparkly and pretty but mostly useless.
Riju stood on the north side and touched both of his pointer fingers to the crystal. A few tendrils of yellow lightning formed. Since he needed a weapon of some sort to channel his magic, he couldn’t attack anyone on his own with his lightning, and whatever he used for channeling had to be strong enough. The crystal could handle it, and a few stray sparks shot out.
Riju added a little more, and a pale bolt shot from the bottom and into the ends of the channelers as if seeking the metal and the crystal shards inside. Kit couldn’t do such a spell since he had fire, and he knew Riju had to be careful to not add too much because if the channelers became overloaded, they’d explode. If he didn’t add enough, the toys wouldn’t last long.
A stray spark tried to fly out and appeared to hit an invisible barrier. It flew into one of the toys. Strands of Riju’s hair lifted, and when he pulled his hands away from the moon crystal, half of it fluffed up in the air as Kit heard a faint crackling sound.
The flowing bolt coming from the bottom of the crystal vanished, and Riju’s hair finally settled down. Well, most of it did. A few strands were still sticking up.
“Let’s test them out,” said Trig.
