My breath catches in my throat at the pure adoration in his eyes. He’s looking at me like I’m his world.
“Sit back and relax, baby girl. I’m going to show you just how much I love your taste.”
He leans back in and goes to work. He feasts on me as if I’m his last meal. He thrusts his tongue inside me as his thumb strums my clit. Then he nibbles my clit as he thrusts his finger inside me. The constant change of pace and sensations has the pleasure building inside me. I feel myself climbing higher and higher as I writhe on the bed. I arch my back, but his hand reaches up to press my stomach back down.
He picks up his pace, thrusting his fingers in and out as his delicious mouth takes up residence at my clit. Much like before, as soon as he starts nibbling and sucking, I’m putty in his hands. I feel my pussy clench as my vision dances. My ears ring as I come harder than I have ever before. I cry out as my body convulses with each wave of pleasure.
While I recover, he moves up my body, kissing my hip, then my stomach before taking a nip at my nipple.
“Mick,” I moan, my body feeling like jelly.
“I will never get tired of hearing you say my name.” His words are a promise, one I’m not equipped to handle in this moment.
“Keep doing that thing with your tongue and you will never have to,” I quip, trying to keep the conversation light.
“I can do that.” He leans in and takes my lips with his.
When he slips his tongue inside, I taste myself on him. It only makes me hotter.
“I have condoms in the drawer there. I think you promised me a sleepless night.”
“That I did, and I keep my promises.”
Chapter 6
Mick
Iturn my head to the side and see Shane sleeping on her stomach, facing away from me. I lean up onto my forearm, staring down at her.
God, she’s so beautiful it hurts.
It’s been a week since we took things to the next level and what a week it’s been. I’ve never met a woman with such an appetite for sex, but it’s even more than that. The more time I spend with her, the harder it is to think about leaving her.
I don’t know what I’ve done in my life to deserve her, but I won’t take it for granted. Shane blew me away from the moment I met her and I haven’t come up for air since. I want her more than my next breath. Even if it means breaking my mother’s heart and settling down here instead of Ashville.
I lean over and brush a kiss on Shane’s cheek, then quietly slide out of bed. I slip into a pair of sweats and head downstairs. In the kitchen, I see Striker sitting there, staring at the tablet and drinking coffee.
“Morning,” I rasp, clearing my throat. “How was your night?”
“If the smirk on your face is any indication, not as good as yours.” Striker cringes. “Forget I said that, considering you’re sleeping with my sister.”
He shivers at the thought. I don’t blame him. I feel the same way about my sister. They will always be kids to us.
“I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that,” I sigh. “I’m not going to hurt her. I know this must be weird, but she’s amazing. Yeah, I know I haven’t known her for that long, but she makes me happy. She makes me feel like this could be the real deal.”
He smirks. “I’ll admit. It is weird thinking my best friend’s sleeping with my sister, but honestly? I know you won’t hurt her. You’re one of the best men I know. I couldn’t ask for someone better to take care of her. She deserves to be happy and you do that for her. In the last two weeks, I’ve seen her happier than ever. She smiles all the time. I even catch her humming to herself. She’s been so focused on the business that she doesn’t let herself live. You’re showing her she can do both. But I have one question for you, though.”
I brace myself for whatever it might be. “Ask away.”
“When are you going to tell your mother you’re planning to move here when you get out?”
I wince. “I haven’t thought about that yet. I mean, do you think Shane even wants me to move here?”
He pats my shoulder. “I think she not only wants you here in Rifle, but in this house with her. I see how she looks at you. She isn’t thinking short term. She’s already imagined your wedding and the two-point-five kids you’re going to have. Add in the white picket fence you’ll likely be building in a year and I’d say you have your future all planned.”
I shake my head. “I know you’re trying to scare me, but fuck, man. It doesn’t. It’s too soon to jump into all that, but one day I’ll marry her.”
“And that’s why I’m not worried. I know you’ll take care of her and let her be her. You won’t try to change her. If anything, you’ll help her grow the business and take some of the stress off of her. I’m truly happy for you, man.”
