"Now why will I ever want to do that, Dogatis?" His voice was deeper, almost an incoherent growl. The voice of man and wolf.
"It is not entirely his fault, Alpha King, as he does not have our sensitive smell. Donas lost his in a climbing accident ten years ago. He has no idea that the woman belongs to you because he could not smell her, or he would never have come close to her."
Wolfariane cocked his head to the side, still glaring at the male he held tightly on the neck, ignoring the choking sounds he was making. His hands bawled into a tighter fist.
Shit. The Dog Alpha tried again, "Please, let him go. He cannot smell a thing. He would have never...EVER...come close to your mate if he had known. Would you have, Donas!?" He raised his voice, directing it to the strangled male.
"No-oo! N-Never!" He gasped, chest weaving.
Finally, he let go of the male, urging himself to calm down. Donas laid on the floor, gasping for breath, blood dripping from his mouth. "Thank you s-so much, Alpha King! Thank you...thank you...!" He gasped repeatedly.
Dogatis let out a deep breath of relief. "Show's over. Everybody get out!" He ordered.
Everywhere scattered with movements immediately. Changelings almost ran over themselves in an effort to leave faster.
Within two minutes, the club was empty. Except for the Alpha King, the dog Alpha, Donas, Ismena, Aronzo, Eline and a few other Changelings that were hiding in the corner.
Wolfariane stepped away from him, blinking hard, trying to control the wolf...to control himself. He was riding on edge.
He has to get away from here before he ignores reasons and grab for the dog male again.
Suddenly, he whirled around and pinned amber eyes on Ismena. He began walking close to her.
"Uhm, wait a moment there." She raised her hands in front of her, palm out as she took steps away from him, "You might not know it, Big Bad Wolfe, but you're scaring the very devils outta me right now." Hiccup, hiccup, "I don't feel so good."
He stopped and glared at Eline.
The cougar sentinel hunched her shoulder in resignation, doing her best to hide her fear.
He said nothing, instead, he continued towards Ismena. Eline didn't feel relieved at all. He will still punish her for her own part in this.
Ismena in her drunk mind, was done being brave at the savage look in his eyes. She whirled around and took off in a run.
But her high heels and her blurry vision was a hindrance. She only took four steps before she stumbled and lost her balance.
In two strides he caught her in his arms and lifted her off her feet.
She began struggling, "Don't hurt me, okay!? You're the one that rejected me, remember? Are you a-angry at me!? I didn't do anything w-wrong! Let me go! Let me go!" she struggled with all her might, but it was like trying to move a wall. And the look in his eyes.
She went wet in her secret places, even as it literally freaked her out. "Oh, my God, somebody heeeeeeelp!" She screamed, kicking her feet vigorously.
"Quiet." One word said calmly, but it sounded like tornado to everybody's ears.
Ismena stilled instantly, knowing when to pick her battle and when not to. This is most definitely not a good time to pick a battle with him.
He inhaled deeply. And, frowned deeper.
"You smell like him." He snapped angrily. His eyes yellowed the more.
Turning around he glared daggers at the male in question.
Donas shrank away from that glare and hid behind his Alpha.
With a growl, he veered around, matched towards the door of the club and out of it, with Ismena wrapped tightly in his arms.
Silence descended in his wake.
Then, Dogatis spared Donas a glance, "You, young man, should go and thank whatever stars are watching over you from the sky that you only said goodbye to your teeth this night, and a few ribs....not your life."
