“Come on you two!” King barks.

“You do have welcome home plans!” Her face lights up and she escapes my loose hold, running toward the others. “What is it? What is it?” she asks, bouncing on her toes.

“What have I said about patience, love?” I chuckle as I walk up behind her.

“Screw you and your patience. Show me!”

We all laugh. One of these day’s our mate’s going to learn a little patience, today clearly is not that day.

“Cree with show me, won’t you?” She flutters her lashes at him.

“We’re all going to show you, sweet girl. No need to use your feminine wiles.” Cree pulls her into him and kisses her before dragging her down the hallway.

“Where are we going?”

“To your surprise, of course.” He smirks.

“You got me a surprise?!” She squeals.

“I love how easily excitable she is,” Neo chuckles.

Ivy stops in her tracks when we turn the corner and see there’s another turn at the end of the hall.

“What’s that?”

“Keep walking and find out,” King smirks.

Not needing to be told twice, she picks up the pace and we follow close behind. At the end of the hall we turn again and Ivy takes in the long hallway that was not there last time she was here.

“You added on to the house?” she gasps.

“We thought it was time you had your own space. Don’t you agree?” King smiles.

“But that doesn’t mean you’re not welcome in my space any time you want.” Neo winks at her.

“But this is like an entirewing!”

“And? You have a lot of stuff,” King says. “Youneedmore room than us.”

“I do not!” huffs.

“Really? So when were you planning on moving your pets?” Cree challenges.

“There’s no room here for them.”

“Exactly. Now, there is,” he says as he opens the first door.

Ivy gasps when she walks into the room. We had a vet help us design an indoor/outdoor sanctuary so all of her little, and some not so little, friends can either be inside or outside. They all still have their individual enclosures, but for those like George who prefer to be loose, they now have the option.

We almost lose her as she explores the room, checking on each of her animals.

“Who’s this? Where’d you come from, little guy?” she coos.

“That is Geoff. We noticed you didn't have your own deathstalker. No collection of deadly creatures is complete without one,” Jax says.

“Awww. You got me a mini you. That’s so sweet!”

“I’ll show you sweet,” he growls and chases after her.
