Ashton

IwatchTrinityleavein a huff, surprised Drew could get under her skin so fast. We’ve both been so busy with work today; we haven’t had time to discuss our new assistant. Now that she’s gone for the day, I head over to Drew’s office. We need to make a plan. I don’t think Drew’s bullheaded take what he wants attitude is going to work this time. A shocker, right?

“What was that about?” I ask as I collapse onto the couch.

“Just letting Trinity know my door is always open.” He smirks, and I roll my eyes.

“Didn’t look like she was too happy about that. Maybe she’d rather my door…”

He snaps his head in my direction so fast I’m amazed it doesn’t break. “Don’t tell me you’re thinking about keeping her for yourself, little brother.”

“Oh, please. As if I could get away with that. Besides, we’ve always said we’d never let a woman come between us. Except in bed, of course.” I smirk. The thought of Trinity sandwiched between us sends blood rushing to my cock.

“Took a while, but we finally found a woman who can not only handle us but will no doubt thrive under our care. Meredith is a sneaky bitch, but I admit, she did good when she found Trinity.”

I know the way Meredith left hurts Drew, but it’s not as if she just walked out of our lives. She’s just not at work where we can see her every day. She’ll still come over for weekly dinners. But now we have Trinity, and we’ll do whatever it takes to convince her we’re where she belongs.

“Well, her first test is tomorrow. Think she’ll be able to handle herself in this meeting?”

“No doubt in my mind. She’s excited about it. She believes in what they’re trying to do. Hell, we haven’t even heard their pitch yet, and she already wants us to agree.” He chuckles. “Think she’ll get mad when we tell her she’s the one running the meeting?”

“Think she’ll take it out on me if she is?” I waggle my brows.

“I’m sure she could be persuaded to.”

“Okay, so first we see if she has what it takes to handle the business. Then we get to see if she can handle us? Who gets to go first?”

“We’re not pushing her, Ashton. If it feels like she wants to do something with one of us, it will happen. Until then, we tease her. It will be one long foreplay session until she is so blind with lust for us, she can’t stop herself. Once she gives in to us, there will be no turning back. Once I taste her… feel her wrapped around me… I won’t be able to let her go. So we make sure she understands that before anyone does anything.”

“Foreplay… I can do that.” I’m a master at foreplay. I’ll have her so worked up; she comes without me even touching her.

I’m so excited for this meeting; I actually get to work on time again. If this keeps up, I’m going to have to do something crazy to keep my bad reputation. But I can’t help it. I need to see Trinity. I watch the cameras again like a total fucking creeper. This is something Drew would do, not me. But here I fucking am, staring at the elevator, waiting for my girl to step off. Dying to know what she’s wearing today.

It’s not much longer before the ding of the elevator arriving echoes in the lobby. I watch with rapt attention as Trinity steps out, walking straight to the receptionist’s desk yet again. This time, though, she hands Michelle a small pastry bag. I don’t even know what’s in it, but if Trinity’s giving out goodies, I want some. Logging out of my computer, I jump up and run for my door. I casually open it and step into the hall just in time for Trinity to say goodbye to Michelle and turn to walk to her desk. She sees me standing there and stops.

“Good morning, Trinity,” I greet her as I lean against my door frame.

She offers me a shy smile before walking the rest of the way to my door. “Morning, Ashton.”

Fuuuuck. My name on her lips has my whole body tightening with need. I barely resist the urge to grab her and claim her as mine right here and now. But I can’t. We have a plan. Can’t rush it.

“You ready for your first meeting?” I tilt my head and appraise her. She looks like she belongs. Confident. Determined. Sexy as fucking hell.

“As ready as I can be with only twenty-four hours' notice. Besides, it’s not like I’ll be doing anything other than taking notes or something. I’m sure I can handle that.” She chuckles as she shrugs her shoulders.

“Hmmm. About that…”

“About what?” She stammers, her eyes widening.

“Trinity. Meeting in my office to prepare for the meeting this afternoon,” Drew interrupts.

“Yeah… okay. Let me put my purse down, and I’ll be right there. You coming?” she asks me.

“Wouldn’t miss it for the world.” I want to see the look on her face when she realizes this ishermeeting, not ours. She may act like the conversation we had yesterday didn’t happen, but we meant every word. It’s just a matter of time before she realizes it, too.

I cut through my office to beat her to the ‘meeting’ and take a seat in the same chair I sit in every time I come to my brother’s office.

“How do you think she’s going to react?” I ask.
