I bite my lips together and give my brother an oops look. He really shouldn’t be surprised, though. I put my foot in my mouth all the time.

“Come sit, and you’ll find out.” He says it nicely, but it still has a bit of a command in it. Not that he could help it, anyway. It was a lot softer than his typical orders, though.

I smirk as her eyes dilate, and she takes a deep breath, her large breasts rising, before slowly… seductively… striding to her seat. I can’t take my eyes off her, but at the same time, I can’t decide where to look. She clears her throat as she sits down, and my eyes snap up to hers.

“Eyes up here, big guy,” she snarks with a twinkle in her ice-blue eyes.

“Can we get to business now?” Drew drawls.

“Yes! Of course. Tell me what you need from me for this meeting. I have some notes about the company and a fresh notepad to take extensive notes during the meeting.”

Drew and I share a look, and I rub my hand over my mouth, covering my chuckle at her naivete.

“Trinity. You won’t be taking notes at this meeting.”

“Oh?”

“I can assure you; you won’t have time. You can, of course, refer to your notes, but you’ll have to focus all of your attention on the gentlemen you’ll be essentially interviewing. We’ll record the entire meeting for documentation‌, but you’ll need to think on your feet. Listen to everything they have to say. Ask pertinent questions. And in the end, you’ll be the one who decides if we invest in their company,” my brother explains.

“Wait… what? You can’t be sayingI’min charge of this meeting,” she sputters, and it’s utterly adorable.
