I plucked the plastic card from his fingers.
"I'm still not comfortable with thinking of it asourmoney," I told him.
"When we first saw how much we made, we couldn't believe it, either." He pecked my cheek. "Get yourself something pretty to wear tonight, little flower. So many things have gotten in the way of our lives recently that we haven't had a chance to spoil you the way we want to."
"I'm spoiled enough just to be with all of you."
A chorus ofawwsfilled the room, and I hid my red face in my hands.

Jayden drove me over to the orphanage in his SUV as Ash and Wyatt followed behind in Ash’s SUV. Tyler was waiting for us on the sidewalk when Jayden came to a stop and got out. They spoke together for a few minutes, did that bro-hug guys do, and went their separate ways. Jayden went to Ash’s vehicle and Tyler slid in behind the steering wheel next to me.
"Ready, luna?" he asked with a smile.
"Ready! Was Jayden threatening you?"
"Oh, no, luna." He buckled up, then put the SUV in drive. "He was telling me that my first paycheck as beta was deposited in my account this morning."
"Good! Now you have some money to spend, too. Although I can spot you if you need. Mason gave me his card."
"Nice! Now we can run away to Bora Bora."
"Bora Bora? Is it a store?"
He laughed.
"No, luna. It's a place. Get your phone and google it. It's my dream vacation destination."
After I pulled out my phone, he spelled it for me, and I surfed pictures as he drove, my jaw dropping in amazement.
"I never dreamed such a beautiful place existed," I murmured.
"You should get the alphas to take you. I don't think they've gone anywhere as a group since before Alpha Mase graduated high school."
"Jayden and Iweretalking about going to the beach, and the others agreed we could take a vacation. I'll have to talk to them about Bora Bora."
Tyler came to a stop outside a shop with a sign reading, "Stella's."
"All right, luna. Let's start here. It's an eclectic little place, so you might find something unique."
"What's eclectic mean?"
"A wide variety of things."
"Is it a shifter shop?" I asked.
"No, but Stella's aware of us. Her granddaughter is the mate of Gamma Rio."
"A human mate?" My eyebrows flew up. "Isn't that unusual?"
"Yeah." Tyler jumped out of the SUV and came around to open my door. "There are probably only ten or twelve human mates in all of Five Fangs."
He held out his hand and I grabbed it before I jumped down.
These darn SUVs are so high off the ground!
"How many members are in our pack?" I asked as he led me into the cute little shop.
