While I was talking with my wolf, the boys finished eating and were all looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"I said, Wyatt, Ash, and I have been summoned to Mom and Dad's to help set up for tonight," Jayden explained. "Do you want to come along, or stay here?"

"Um, actually—"

"Mase and Cole will be holed up in the home office clearing out the paperwork backlog," Wyatt told me, "so you won't be here alone if you want to stay, but it'll probably be boring."

"Well—"

"That's right, princess. You should come with us. You can meet Mom and Mama." Ash bounced his left leg up and down as he grinned at me.

"I—"

"And you can—"

"Let her speak," Mason cut Wyatt off. "You two keep interrupting her every time she goes to answer!"

The three musketeers apologized, and I nodded at them.

"I want Tyler to take me shopping for a gift for Peri," I said. "If he's not busy and, um, wants to, and if he can, uh, borrow a vehicle."

"He'll do whatever you want him to," Cole assured me with a soft smile, "and he can take Jay's. Right, Jay?"

"Sure." Jayden shrugged. "Ash or Wyatt can drive us over to the parents' place."

"Here, baby." Mason took a plastic card out of his wallet and handed it to me. "Until we can get you a card of your own, you'll have to use one of ours. Get her whatever you want."

"I have money." I put my hands under the table.

"Take it, Posy. Everything that is ours is yours, too."

"But it's not my money. I didn't do anything to earn it." I shook my head and dropped my eyes.

I heard him get up, then felt my chair being pulled back. Next thing I knew, he was on his knees in front of me with his hands tilting my face up to meet his serious gray eyes.

"We didn't do anything to earn it, either. Not really. We are wealthy because we got lucky with the investments we made with our inheritances."

"Investments?" I tilted my head.Another new word.

"Yes. I invested mine as soon as I turned eighteen. When the others saw the profit margin in my portfolio, they agreed to invest theirs, too."

"Profit margin? Portfolio?"All new words.

"I'll explain another time in as much detail as you want, but for now, trust me when I say we have more money than we know what to do with. Last year, we netted nearly $5 billion."

"Five billion!" I gasped.

"Yep." He nodded.

"A billion. Abilliondollars? Billion as in with a b?"

"Yeah, baby. We're billionaires."

My head spun as I stared at him.

"We wanted to provide for our mate and pups and just happened to be more successful than we could have ever dreamed. Sopleasespend the money, baby. We invested it for you, even if we didn't know you yet."
