After Lilah picked out an outfit and shoes for tomorrow, I gave her a new bra and an unopened pack of panties. Then we joined the guys in the living room.

They were sprawled all over the armchairs and couches, and we three girls budged up together on the remaining love seat with Peri in the middle.

"So, Posy, we wanted to talk to you about our plan to prevent any more misunderstandings like what happened today at the store."

Cole leaned back in his chair and steepled his fingers together in front of his chest.

"Should we leave, alpha?" Luke raised an eyebrow.

"No, it would be good to hear other opinions."

After Ash gave him and Lilah a short summary of our shopping trip, I asked my mates to tell me the plan.

"Well," Wyatt said with excitement in his eyes, "we are thinking of rings like humans do for weddings. We'd get one for you too. We want you to design a band for each of us."

"Oh, I like that!" Peri clapped her hands.

"I think that's a great idea," Luke spoke up, and Lilah nodded.

"Another part of the plan is more serious." Mason crossed his ink-covered arms over his chest. "We want you to mark us."

I blinked in surprise.

"Mark you?" I wanted to be sure I’d heard right. "You wantmeto markyou?"

"Yep!" Ash jogged his leg up and down. "We all do, princess. We want to wear your mark so everyone knows who we belong to."

I bit my lip and looked first at Peri, then Lilah. I’d never heard of a female marking her mate, and to judge by their wide eyes, they hadn’t either.

"Does it strengthen the mate bond or something?" Lilah turned to her brother.

"No, but itisa very special gift." Luke's face showed something that looked like envy.

"What? Why?" Peri also looked at Luke.

"When a male marks his mate, she is linked to him for life. It works the same way in reverse," he explained. "Once Posy marks her mates, they are hers forever. Even if she decides not to be theirs, they would still be linked to her and only her until her last breath."

"Aw! That’s so sweet!" Peri squealed.

"And how do other males feel about this?" Lilah asked her brother.

"I only know howIfeel," he shrugged, "and I would be honored if my future mate marked me."

They proving their loyalty,Lark said.You mark mates, you has all power over them and they has none over you. My respect for mates growing and growing.

"If this is what you want, I’ll do it," I said quietly.

"No, Posy." Jayden shook his head. "Remember what we talked about? No more doing things that you don't want to do just to please or placate us or out of fear of a punishment."

"And you don't have to answer right away," Cole said. "You can take time and think about it. We're not pressuring you to do or not do anything."
