Every morning when I woke up, the first thing I did was roll over to grab my phone and check my messages. Emails requesting more information on a listing were par for the course for real estate agents. Messages to purchase a house sight unseen from someone who had never worked with me before rarely happened. Years of experience made me skeptical that a deal would actually result from an offer that came to me that way, but there was never a guarantee in my business.

Questions/Comments: I want to buy a house in Mooreville. I already found one I like online. 20259 Mill Street. I won’t be able to make the trip down there, so I need an agent who can handle the whole thing for me remotely. Could you do a walk-through and send me some additional pictures or a video?

Today must’ve been my lucky day because I was already planning to tour the Mill Street listing this morning during a broker’s open house. I wouldn’t be out more than the few minutes it would take me to upload the video and send it to Vienna Frost if she ended up not being interested. Not that my potential client needed to know that I already had the visit planned. Or that I would be more surprised that the sale went through than if it didn’t. Especially since the email address she used didn’t exactly inspire confidence.
