Something opened and closed the gate as they ushered women out of the pen, one by one. And then it was my turn. A scorpion grabbed me, pulled me out of the stall and down another aisle before shoving me into a ring.
Holy shit, I was at an auction mart. And I was the one being sold instead of the animals you’d see in these types of places on Earth.
A loud guttural hum came from a dais beside the ring. The auctioneer.
The stands were full of aliens, so many that I didn’t know where to look first. I stood stock still, too afraid to move. There were beings of every colour in the stands. Some oversized insects, some blobs, some humanoids. A few even appeared to be part animal with fur covering their bodies. I watched in horror as a spider looking mother fucker raised a hairy leg in the air.
“Oh, God. Please, not a fucking spider,” I begged in a whimper.
The scorpion in the ring with me spun me around in a slow circle, then pushed me closer to the crowd. I watched in stunned horror as hands, claws, and tentacles raised and lowered. I was being sold and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it. It was impossible to keep up with who was doing the bidding. When the alien ushered us out of the ring, I had no clue who’d bought me.
Down another aisle and into another pen, this one small and outside of the huge metal building. Pressure on my shoulder had me sinking down to sit in the dirt. The gate made a loud ringing noise when it slammed shut. I waited until the scorpion was a fair distance away before I shakily stood up.
It was boiling out here, and when I glanced up, three suns shone down from their place in the sky. There were trees in the distance, and I thought about making a break for it, but upon further inspection, noticed there were aliens patrolling the pens. Fear kept me in place.
When a tentacled blob floated over and opened my gate, I meekly followed it, not wanting to give it a reason to touch me. The ship it led me to was relatively small compared to some others hovering in the air. It was basically an oval with windows at the front of it. Not nearly as nifty looking as the giant ones. They were of various sizes, colours and shapes. I giggled at the circular ones that reminded me of a dozen space movies I’d seen.
Guess humans got some things right about aliens.
A ramp lowered down to rest in front of us. A tentacle gestured to it. I took one tentative step, and the tentacle pushed me the rest of the way onto the metal. When it moved, I dropped to my hands and knees and held on for dear life. I never did like heights, so it was a good thing the ship wasn’t that high.
A door opened, and the ship sucked me in. A huge green foot with deadly looking claws on each toe came into view. The hand that grabbed me had matching claws and one scary ass hooked talon coming out of the top. I squeezed my eyes shut and didn’t move a muscle, terrified it would rip into me at any moment.
It let out a long grunting noise, and then another, before shaking my arm. I took a deep breath, then opened my eyes.
Holy shit. Holy fucking shit!
The thing was massive. It was, I think, a tree. It had a huge hump that covered the back of its head and upper back. Grass grew out of the hump and along its arms. It had no neck. Its face was insane. Vines came out of it in place of a beard and hair, squinty eyes and an enormous mouth with sharp teeth. And it was male…kinda hard to miss that detail.
He pointed to a chair, which I quickly sat on, then pressed a button beside me and a strap wrapped around my middle. With a surprisingly gentle pat on top of my head, he moved to a seat on the other side of the ship. After pressing a couple of buttons, we lifted into the air. He turned to look at me with a smile. At least, I hoped it was a smile.
Maybe he was smiling because he was hungry, and I was going to be his lunch. He turned back around, and I breathed a sigh of relief not to have its beady eyes on me. I got naked for a living, but being naked in front of aliens was a whole different ball game.
With nothing to do but wait to find out my fate, I glanced around. The sparkly effects of the drug were wearing off. The ship was…underwhelming. Just a bunch of metal, a couple of seats and the control panel. At least the lights on it were pretty. I was bored.
After a few more minutes, I mustered up my courage. “Hey. Do you understand English? Where are you taking me?”
The alien turned back around and gave me another one of its smiles. At least this alien showed some emotion. All the other creatures that I’d had the misfortune of interacting with were like robots. When it turned back around, I knew I wasn’t getting any answers out of him.
I tried fiddling with the belt, seeing if it would come loose, but it held tight. I wasn’t going anywhere until someone freed me. Leaning forward to look out the window was useless. The view was blocked by the sheer bulk of the alien.
A song flashed through my mind, one I’d performed to many times, about the jungle having fun and games. Sitting back with my eyes closed, I hummed the tune and went through my routine in my mind. It was something I did to calm myself when I was stressed. And boy was I fucking stressed.
I’d gone through several songs and routines when the aircraft gave a small lurch. Jerking my eyes open, I looked over to see the big green guy lumbering over to me. He pressed the button, and I was free. I let out a small shriek when he picked me up and slung me over his shoulder. After pressing another series of buttons, the door opened, and he walked down the ramp.
Chapter Five
My eyes widened when I saw a huge group of women, all naked as the day they were born in a pasture in front of a massive barn. Some were laying down sunbathing by the looks of it, while others crawled around on all fours. Other’s laid in the shade of tall trees.
“Help! Someone help!”
A couple of the women closest to me turned to look at us, but then went back to eating the grass. What the actual fuck was going on here?
The big guy carried me into the barn. It was brightly lit and full of stalls. The women who were in the stalls were laying on soft looking beds. Any time I tried begging for help, I was ignored or met with confused gazes. None of the women appeared distressed which was something of a relief. Everything looked very clean and smelled like fresh cut grass and a bit earthy.
When we entered a white room, I panicked. Hell no! I’d already been poked and probed. Struggling proved useless. The alien made long grunting noises after placing me in a chair. Hestalked to a tablet mounted to the wall and I stifled a giggle while I watched him carefully press on the screen with his long ass claws. A drawer popped open.
Another alien walked into the room. This one was a much smaller version of the big guy. I noticed right away that it didn’t have the huge talon on its hands, and its claws were much shorter. It spoke in a much higher pitch and when it turned to face me, I noticed the metal chest cover. Definitely female.
