Hudson grunted.

Connie couldn’t even do that. He was too busy dealing with one of the most powerful orgasms of his life.

“Did you feel that?” Kit asked, panting. “Like, a fluttering in your chest?”

Connie raised his head off Kit’s hip. Hudson straightened, then moved so he was standing beside Connie. Seeing Kit trying to sit up, Hudson grabbed Kit’s hand and helped him.

“Seriously. Did either of you feel that?”

“I did.” Connie grabbed his wineglass and took a drink. The taste of come wasn’t his favorite.

“So did I.” Hudson climbed out of the hot tub.

Connie followed him, and they both sat down next to Kit. Connie patted Kit on the thigh. “You okay?”

“Yeah.” Kit stretched. “I’m feelingveryrelaxed. So. You both felt that?”

“Yes.” Connie picked up Kit’s wineglass and moved closer to him. “It’s not the first time for me. Was it for you?”

Kit shook his head as he sipped his wine.

“Not the first time for me either,” Hudson added.

Kit sat his wineglass down, then yawned. “That was the bond, wasn’t it?”

“Yes.” Connie nodded. “The fluttering doesn’t bother you, does it?”

Kit rubbed his chest, then shook his head. “It’s not painful or anything, but it’s definitely noticeable.”

Hudson leaned over and kissed Kit on the neck. “I’m glad the three of us experience something like that together. Are you ready for bed?”

Kit yawned again. “Yes. Connie? Why don’t you go ahead and take a shower first? I’m gonna sit here and finish my wine.”

“Would you like to take a shower together?”

“If I get in there with you, we willnotbe showering,” Kit joked.

“Understood.” And he did because Kit was probably right. Well, he didn’t know if Kit had the stamina to go again, but Connie certainly did. He climbed to his feet and picked up his bathing suit. He also grabbed his wineglass. “I won’t take long. I know you’re ready to go to bed.”

“No rush. I need to cool off anyhow.”

Connie studied Kit’s face. His mate could say what he wanted, but he was about to sit there and go to sleep. He hurried into the master bathroom and turned on the shower.

He wished Kit was in there with him. Hudson as well. But he understood what Kit was saying. Connie quickly cleaned himself and got out of the shower.

He slipped on night pants and went back outside to check on Kit and Hudson. They had moved to one of the lounge chairs. Hudson lay in it with Kit between his legs. Kit was also using his towel as a blanket.

As soon as he walked outside, Hudson maneuvered Kit around and stood with him.

Kit snickered as he rested his head against Hudson’s shoulder. “I’m more than capable of walking, you know?”

“But why would you when you don’t have to?” Hudson asked.

“You do have a point.”

While Hudson carried Kit into the master bathroom, Connie picked up outside. When he entered the bedroom, heheard the shower running. Not seeing Hudson in the bedroom, he walked into the private living area.

Hudson had slipped on night pants while he waited for Kit to finish showering.
