I open my eyes, drowning in stormy grey. The intensity steals my breath.

"Beautiful," he murmurs. "So beautiful."

This was it. I was ready. I sit up slightly, as he reaches for himself and lines up against me as I slowly sink down into him. He is thicker than I was used to and the stretch was delicious.

I moved so slowly and I could see he was concentrating on not moving until I was ready.

I was finally seated on him, feeling his throb deep inside me. His hands find my hips as I begin to move, arching over him as my movements become quicker and quicker.

He flips us in one motion and he thrusts harder into me, making me call out as I warp my legs around him.

I arch as he hits the perfect spot. "Marcus."

"I've got you." He kisses me deeply as he thrusts faster into me. "Let go."

I shatter in his arms, feeling his release shoot inside me, both of us calling out with our release.

Breathing heavy, he gathers me close, pressing kisses to my temple. I trace patterns on his chest, feeling his heartbeat slow.

"Mine." His voice rumbles under my ear.

That’s is so hot.

I prop up on his chest, studying his face.

"What?" he asks softly.

"Just wondering how I got so lucky."

He snorts. "Think that's my line."

"We can share it." I kiss his jaw.

His hands stroke my back. "I like that thought.”

"Mm-hmm." I trail kisses down his throat as I feel him harder against me again.

“Take me to bed.”

His growl vibrates through me as he cradles me in his arms and walks up the stairs to my bed.

This time it was slower, deeper.

I trace his scars with fingers and mouth, showing him how beautiful he is to me. How perfectly he fits against me, in me.

"Daisy." The way he says my name undoes me.

"I know." I wrap around him completely. "Me too."

We lose ourselves in each other as the candles burn low. Making up for all those interruptions.

Later, much later, he traces patterns on my hip as I drift.

"Thank you."

I prop up, finding his eyes in the dark. "For what?"

"For seeing me." His thumb strokes my cheek. "The real me."
