There’s so much emotion in his face. His features are soft—his eyes, his smile, the relaxation of his jaw. The two tiny creases that almost always appear between his brows are gone. Instead, his forehead is smooth, and the only lines on his face are the ones appearing around his eyes from his smile.

“Was that worth the wait?” Cal asks, his voice thick.

I laugh. “I’m still mad at you for making me wait. We could’ve been doing that for two weeks already.”

His hands move from where they rest on my hips. I shiver underneath his touch as he softly brushes his fingertips along my arms. He traces this path until both of his hands grab mine. Our fingers intertwine before he tugs, pulling my body flush to his once again.

I gasp, using our clasped hands to help steady myself.

Cal nuzzles his nose against mine, the gesture far more intimate than any kiss could ever feel. “We’ll make up for losttime,” he assures me, reminding me of what we were talking about.

I smile at the sexiness and the grittiness of his voice. “Is that a promise?”

He kisses my cheek softly. “Yes, baby, it is. I’m already looking forward to being inside you again.”

I move my hips a little to prove a point. “You’re not even out of me yet.”

He gives me a cocky smirk before lifting his head and giving me a quick kiss. “Still looking forward to doing it again.” The words are said against my lips.

I give his hands a squeeze before pushing off his chest slightly. My senses are in overdrive from the multiple orgasms, and having him still inside me begins to tickle. I slowly inch off him and slide off to his side, missing the feeling of him inside me the moment he’s out. I look down, finding my thighs damp from our arousal.

“I probably need to shower,” I say with a nervous laugh. I hadn’t thought about the after part with him. I just knew I was desperate for him to finally fuck me. Now that it’s over, are things going to be awkward? I don’t think they will be. Nothing was awkward after Cal went down on me—other than the fact I begged for him to let me touch him and he said he wanted to take things slow.

Cal sits up, and something inside me melts when he places a tender kiss on my shoulder. “Then let’s take a shower,” he offers.

My eyes go wide for a moment. “Together?”

He continues to press featherlight kisses to my shoulder and collarbone. “Yes, together. I love that my cum is leaking out of you, yet you’re blushing at the thought of us showering.”

My cheeks heat even more at his comment. I rub my lips together as I fight a shy smile. “We don’t haveto,” I begin, my eyes anxiously darting around the room. “You know, if you don’t want to or that isn’t your thing.”

It’s silent for a few moments. Each passing second that he doesn’t say anything feels like torture. Finally, I look at him, finding him staring at me with a wide smile on his lips.

“What?” I whisper.

“Just so you know, anything with you is mything. Haven’t you learned that by now?” He reaches up and tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear. “I can’t get enough of you.”

CAL

Lucy and I are walking hand in hand down the sidewalk when I come to a stop.

“Let’s go in here,” I offer, gesturing toward the house to our right.

Lucy looks at the house with the gray shingles. “Cal, you’re joking.”

I shake my head as a slow smile spreads over my lips. “I’m not joking. Let’s go inside.”

“That’s the Chanel house. I don’t need anything from Chanel.”

“Does anyone reallyneedanything from Chanel?” I counter, lifting an eyebrow. “I want to get you something.”

Her jaw falls open. She looks adorable standing on the sidewalk, her hair pulled back in some sort of clip she had in her bag, her mouth hanging open in disbelief. Her wide eyes stay pinned on me, no words leaving her mouth for a bit, as if she’s waiting for me to tell her it’s a joke.

It isn’t.

I’ve had the best afternoon helping her pick out an outfit for dinner tonight with some of our friends, and I don’t want it to stop. I’ve quickly learned how much I enjoy buying herthings. I want to buy her anything she shows even the slightest interest in, just because I can. I’m still waiting for her to open up to me more about her life before this summer, but from what I’ve gathered, she hasn’t ever had anyone spoil her the way she deserves. Knowing that makes me want to be the man to do it.
