Chapter Six

WILLA

“Princess.” The deep, sexy sound rumbles through my body, making me think I’m dreaming.

Kisses trail down my ear to my neck. I slowly start to wake, feeling Vasily’s legs tangled with mine. We’re wrapped tightly together. When I first spotted him, I wouldn’t have pegged him for a cuddler, but the second he slipped into the bed with me, he pulled me into his arms. I fell asleep quickly.

I’m sure it was a mix of everything. I’d been up early for classes, then went out with Teddy before we ended up at the warehouse. Never would have thought I’d hop from there to a speedboat and onto a yacht to land myself in a man's bed. It honestly was the most exciting night of my life.

“No talking yet.” I bury myself deeper into the bed, not wanting this moment to end.

“I’m good with that.” Vasily’s hand slips under the shirt he’d given me to sleep in, cupping my breast. His thumb strokes my nipple back and forth, making it harder.

“Vasily,” I whisper his name, my ass pushing back on its own.

“Right here.” He nips at my neck. I turn in his arms, and he rolls me under him for a deep, lazy kiss. “I could get used to this.”

“What?”

“Waking up with you.”

“You’re a cuddler.” I am, too, except it’s normally with a pillow.

“It seems so.” He kisses the tip of my nose before pushing up from the bed.

“Where are you going?” I sit up, wanting him to come back. I need more of his touches.

He turns back to face me, and my eyes travel down his broad bare chest. Vasily has clearly spent a significant amount of time in the gym. You can see the outline of all of his muscles. I think I'd kill myself if I attempted to get on a treadmill.

“Getting out of this bed before I push you too far, too quickly.” He reaches down and adjusts his cock in his dark gray sweatpants. My mouth goes dry. That ache that had formed between my thighs only grows, seeing how turned on he is. The thought of me having that effect on him is something I can’t wrap my head around.

“Maybe I want to do more.” I have never been this attracted to anyone before. What I’m having a hard time understanding is his attraction to me. I mean, I’m curvy with glasses and bookish. I’m rather plain. I don’t stand out; men's eyes never linger on me. As for Vasily, I’m sure women swoon all over him.

“I know, Princess. You want to do a lot of things, and I’m going to be there while you do them.” Vasily comes around the side of the bed. “I’ll be right back. I need to go downstairs and grab some shit.” He drops a kiss on the top of my head before leaving the bedroom.

I fall back on the bed, telling myself that he is attracted to me. He has to be, right? Why else would he bring me here? I need to talk to Teddy.

“Oh my God!” I shoot out of the bed, having forgotten to let anyone know where I was or what I was doing. I bet she is freaking out. I snag my glasses off the nightstand.

Where in the hell did I leave my phone? I'm so dead. I don't find it in the bathroom where I changed into Vasily's shirt. I rush to the living room. I’m almost in full freak-out mode when the elevator doors open.

Vasily pushes a cart off with boxes on it.

“What are you doing?” He hits the button to close the doors, leveling me with a fierce stare that has me shifting on my feet like I’m in trouble.

“I ah?—”

“Were you trying to leave?” He comes toward me, his long strides quickly eating up the distance between us.

“What?” He put a shirt on. That is kind of disappointing.

“Were you trying to leave?” he repeats again, his words having an edge to them.

“Are you mad at me?”

“Answer the question, Willamina.” Oh, he’s using my full name now. He must be upset.

“No, I was looking for my phone.” I step back from him. I clearly pissed him off. “I wasn’t snooping or anything.” My eyes start to sting. Why am I about to cry? There’s no way in hell I’m going to do it in front of him. “I need my things.” I turn, heading back toward the bedroom, not understanding what I’d really done wrong.
