I chuckled, “I think you know very well how sexy you look in that outfit.”
“Hey, what time...” CJ started to ask as he walked out of the bathroom. He stopped in his footsteps when he saw Zayla. “Wow!”
“Let’s all get some sleep.” I waved toward the bed.
CJ glanced between Zayla and me. “You’re going to be able to sleep with this sexy thing between us?”
“Probably not.”
Zayla placed her phone on the nightstand to charge before she climbed into bed. “Or we could pick up where we left off earlier?”
I slipped under the covers next to Zayla. “Soon, but not yet.”
CJ turned off the lights before he climbed into bed.
“Good night, everyone.”
It wasn’t long before I heard Zayla’s sweet snores. Her soft breasts were pushed against my arm. CJ was on his side, his arm stretched across Zayla, and his hand rested on my abs. My life felt complete.
My mind started to drift when the phone vibrated next to the bed. I reached over and realized it was Zayla’s phone. She had a text from an unknown number, and my stomach dropped, knowing it would be from the killer.

The penthouse suiteexuded an air of opulence, with its lavish furnishings and expansive windows that framed the breathtaking view of New York City’s skyline. Yet, the gravity of the situation overshadowed the luxurious setting. We were about to embark on a dangerous mission, one that could determine the fate of not just Zayla but all of us. Not to mention the text Zayla received about what she had to steal, but we all agreed to get through the meeting with the mob before we dove into the killer’s message.
As Zayla settled on my lap, I could feel the tension in the room begin to dissipate. Her presence calmed my nerves, even in the midst of this chaos. I wrapped my arm around her waist, drawing her closer, finding solace in her warmth.
Zayla squeaked. “What will they think?”
I stared straight into Zayla's eyes. Kat and Antonio would assume Asher and I had brought Zayla into our relationship. They’d only met Tessa once, but she didn’t like spending time with them.
“I don’t really care what they think. Do you?”
“Honestly, I like Kat, and I don’t want her to think I’m trying to come between you and Asher.”
I leaned forward and nipped her ear. “I wouldn’t mind you coming between Asher and me. As long as you’re coming while riding one of our cocks.”
“I can’t believe you just said that?” Zayla whispered.
Movement out of the corner of my eye caught my attention before three sets of eyes were trained on Zayla and me.
Kat clapped her hands together. “I get another point,” she paused for a second. “If I did the math right. I’m leading now.”
“Leading?” Zayla asked.
“On the number of people, she has set up,” I replied.
Asher shook his head. “Kat, you’re not taking credit for this. Our lives are not to be part of any office pools or tallies.”
“You’re the only Ross family member that moves like molasses to tie your partner down,” Antonio chuckled. “Alex, Aaron, and I all married the people we love.”
My heart constricted, and I knew if it was up to Asher, we would have tied the knot years ago. Despite that I didn’t want him to argue about this with his brother, and especially not in front of Zayla. “Don’t we have a mission to plan?”
Antonio glanced at me and back to Asher. "We do."
The heated debate between Kat and Antonio started up again. Their voices grew louder as they argued over the best approach for the upcoming mission. Asher sat silently, observing the intense exchange. His sharp eyes flickered between the building plans and the escalating argument, his mind undoubtedly calculating every scenario.
