“Don’t worry about it.” Noah shrugged. “I had his info the second you and Bryson told me he existed. I’ll send him a text, and he can contact you through me.”

Gabriel nodded before heading out the door.

“I’ll fly back to Seattle with him to ensure he makes it safely,” Collin said as he put on his jacket. “I’ve heard rumors about Razor. It would be nice to finally meet the legend.”

Noah burst out laughing. “Not sure you’ll feel the same after meeting her.”

Hank hadn’t said much during the meeting, but now he turned to Noah and smiled. “I know you have more contacts out in Seattle. You chose her because she’ll be an ass to him.”

“Maybe, but mostly she’ll keep him alive. Give me an update when you get back from Seattle.”

“Will do. Stay safe. We know someone is after Lynn, and we know why. We just don’t know who it is.”

Lynn gave Collin and Hank a hug before they walked out the door. Noah, Bryson, and Lynn walked into the living room. She sat down on the couch next to Azadeh. The young girl reached out and gripped her hand. Bryson took the seat on the other side of her.

Noah walked over and picked Matilda up then sat down and put her on his lap. The two were perfect for each other. Lynn had met Matilda’s brother when she lived in Faith of the Glorious One. He was a great kid, and Matilda had done a good job of raising him.

Bryson didn’t deserve to be put through her mess. She had money now. Maybe she could go on the run. A check was attached to the back of the divorce papers. Five million dollars. She didn’t know what to do with the money. She didn’t want it. Gabriel’s money wasn’t the reason she married him in the first place.

She settled into the couch and watched the news. Azadeh gripped her hand tighter when it went to world news and reported about a bombing in Jalalabad. When a man flashed across the screen, Bryson quickly turned the channel. Lynn was so wound up in her own problem, she had momentarily forgotten everything Azadeh had gone through.

Lynn didn’t know what tomorrow would bring, but for tonight, she would hang out with the people helping her.
