Greyson’s heart clenched.

“Will you stay with me?” she asked quietly.

Without hesitation, he nodded. “Of course.”

Because there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for Lily.

Chapter Six

Lily

The soft glow of her nightlight cast warm shadows across the room when Lily slowly blinked awake.

Something was different.

It took her a moment to realize what it was. The steady rise and fall of a broad chest beneath her cheek, the warmth of a strong arm wrapped securely around her waist, the quiet rumble of someone else breathing.

Greyson.

Her breath hitched, her heart skipping a beat as she took in her position. She was tucked tightly against him, her body molded to his in a way that felt sonatural, soright. His other arm was curled under his head, his breathing slow and even, deep in sleep.

For a long moment, she justlooked at him. It had been so long, yet he was even better looking than she remembered.

In the dim light, she could make out the sharp angles of his jaw, the flecks of silver in his hair, and the slight crease inhis brow even as he slept. He looked older now, yes, butstillso undeniablyGreyson. Strong. Protective.

Hers.

Or at least… he had been.

Her heart clenched as her mind drifted back to everything that had happened that night. Seeing him atThe Playground, feeling him take care of her again, hearing his deep voice call herhis good girl.

Had it meant something to him?

Would he ever want to be her Daddy again?

The thought made her stomach flip.

She didn’t know how to ask.

Didn’t know if shecouldask.

But just as her thoughts started to spiral, a familiar sensation pulled her back to reality.

Her bladder.

Her eyes widened slightly as she realized how full it was, how desperately she needed to go.

She shifted a little, but Greyson’s grip around her waist tightened instinctively, pulling her closer.

She stilled.

There was no way she could move without waking him.

Her gaze flickered toward the bathroom door, but she already knew there was no getting out of his grasp without disturbing him.

Then, she remembered.

The diaper.
