“And when did you find out that you were pregnant?”

She paled and then I was terrified she was going to pass out. I helped her to lower her head between her knees and take deep breaths.

“You must be mistaken,” she said shakily, “I am not ready to be a mother.”

“Well, you either have an alien living inside of you or you’re pregnant.” And then it dawned on me, “Hey both of those are right!”

Sarah looked at me in dismay, “What?”

I grinned, “Well, considering Axel is an alien, the baby would be half of him. He is the father, right?”

“Of course, he is the father! Oh shit, Axel is going to be a father. I have to tell him.”

I looked over to see who had come in the door, there was Axel and Zack in a deep conversation.

“Well,” I motioned to them, “Here is your chance.”
