“Sure, what can we do for you?” Beau asked.
He was smitten with her, God, I think all of us were. She was magnetic, alluring and downright gorgeous. She also made me question my sexuality and made me wonder if I might be bisexual because I would let her tie me up and spank me any day. She smirked at me like she knew what I was thinking. My cheeks blushed as I looked away.
“I was wondering if you would like to participate in an auction in a few months?” she asked. “It would be just for a date here at the Atelier and they would only get this version of you. It would benefit a few local community charities.”
“Absolutely!” Beau said excitedly.
I knew I shouldn’t be thinking about the guys, but something told me I should.
“Can I think about it and give you an answer later?” Her attention made me squirm.
“Of course! It won’t be until May or June, but I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in doing it,” she said with a big smile. “I’ll reach out again in a few weeks and give you more details.”
“That sounds great,” I said, grabbing my coat.
“I can’t wait,” Beau said, looking like an eager puppy.
“Thank you,” she said, smiling while she walked away.
“Of course!” Beau yelled.
I grimaced at his over-enthusiasm.
“Damn, Beau, you know she’s taken right? She has a married couple that worship the ground she walks on, and if you saw them you would understand,” I said, zipping up my coat.
“It doesn’t hurt to try,” he smirked, as he pulled some pants and a t-shirt on before his coat. “Girl, put some pants on, you’re going to freeze your ass off.”
“I just wanna leave,” I said, that urgency to leave had returned.
“What happened?” he asked, looking concerned.
“Nothing, just fans who think they know better than we do,” I said, keeping my voice even.
“He looked like a fucking dick,” he said, grabbing his bag.
I wish I could tell Beau about him, but he didn’t need any more attention.
“He was,” I said. “He was telling me a collab with you was stupid and I didn’t know what the hell I was doing.”
“Fucking people think they are entitled to our decisions and think we only cater to them,” he said, rolling his eyes. “I know I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, but don’t expect me to be yours.”
“Amen, sister,” I said, feeling better.
“Come on, Sia, let’s get out of here.” He grabbed his own bag and we walked out together.
We said bye to a few of the employees before heading out. Getting off the elevator, I threw my hoodie over my head to hide my wig and mask. I could have walked out looking just as me, but I didn’t want anyone to know it was me.
“Where are you parked?” Beau asked, as he also put his hood up.
He didn’t hide his identity, but Beau had a lot of admirers he chose to stay far away from.
“Second row a few cars down,” I said shivering, even though we had just exited the building.
“Come on, let me walk to your car,” he said, putting his hand on the small of my back.
“I’m right there and it’s cold so let’s just get to our cars,” I said, kissing him on his cheek and running to my car. “Love you, bye!”
“Call me when you get home!” he yelled at me.
