“Kiss me, Cameron,” she whispers.

That’s it.

My control has been blown to fuckin’ smithereens.

Bringing my lips to hers, she lets out a tiny moan and wraps her arms around my neck. Just as I’m about to reach down and squeeze that plump ass of hers, someone knocks on the front door. Breaking the kiss with a groan, I drop my forehead to hers. “Go get some clothes on, baby. I’ll have to kill my brother if he sees your nipples.”

Bianca giggles and hightails it to her room. Grabbing a shirt, I walk to the front door and open it. My mom and sisters are leading the pack. They walk right in, no hello or anything. Closing the door, I make my way to the girls’ room. When I open the door, I smile at hearing their tiny snores. I stand there for a few minutes, just watching them sleep. Bianca comes in and smiles when she sees me standing against the wall.

“They look like little angels,” I tell her.

Bianca snorts and shakes her head. “Just wait until you try and wake them up.” Bianca goes to Abi’s bed first and when she pulls the blanket back, Abi growls and yanks the blanket back up. My eyes go big and Bianca laughs. “Come on, little ladies. Daddy and the rest of the family are her for breakfast.”

That perks them right up. When they sit up and notice the room they’re in, they start gushing and running around. It takes Bianca ten minutes to coax them to put some clothes on. I help her dress them and we head out to the living room. Bianca makes a beeline for the kitchen. I’m guessing to help cook breakfast. When the food is ready, we pull out a bunch of foldout tables for the kids. My dining room table can only fit all the adults.

Bianca asks me to help get her mother down for breakfast, so I go upstairs with her and carry Victoria down the steps. She tried to protest, saying she could walk, but I see how heavy she was breathing just standing up out of her bed. That’s one of the things I want to discuss over breakfast. When we get to the table, I introduce Victoria to everyone.

Breakfast happens while we get to know each other, but when Victoria starts having a coughing fit, all laughter dies at the table.

“Victoria, I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what is your heart condition?” my mom asks.

Victoria gives a small smile, nodding her head. “I need open-heart bypass surgery. The doctor gave me six months at the max and that was almost three months ago.”

Everyone gasps with wide eyes. “Why haven’t you done the surgery? Are there complications or something?” Cara asks.

Bianca shakes her head as tears fall. “Her insurance doesn’t cover it and Mom doesn’t want me to pay off the surgery.” Victoria looks at Bianca with soft eyes, grabbing ahold of her hand. I look over at my father and he nods his head.

My dad clears his throat and gets Victoria and Bianca’s attention. “If you don’t mind, I would like to pay for the surgery.”

Bianca and Victoria gasp. Victoria starts shaking her head immediately. Before she can protest, my dad speaks up. “Hear me out, Victoria. My granddaughters love you. If the only thing that’s in between you and an early grave is surgery, then I’ll gladly pay for it.”

Victoria looks around the table in disbelief. She starts shaking her head again with a heavy sigh. “Paul, that surgery is a hundred and fifty thousand dollars. You have your own family to provide for. I couldn’t ask you to do that.”

“You didn’t ask. I offered. Let me ask you two something. Have you ever heard of Romano’s Palace?”

Bianca looks at my dad with confusion but still nods her head. “I own them. I have hundreds of hotels across the globe. I don’t want to sound cocky or ungrateful, but I’m a billionaire. That hundred and fifty thousand dollars won’t even put a dent in my bank account.”

Bianca and Victoria’s mouths fall open as they stare at my father with blank expressions. Victoria’s mouth is opening and closing like a fish out of water, at a loss for words. Bianca looks up at me and I smirk, nodding my head. After a few minutes of them sitting there in silence, trying to process the information, my mom grabs Victoria’s hand from across the table.

“Please let us do this. You deserve to watch your grandbabies grow up. See your daughter get married. You deserve a long healthy life surrounded by family.”

Victoria covers her mouth as a sob breaks free. “Thank you. I’ll pay you back. I swear it.”

“You will do no such thing. We’re family now, and family sticks together.”

Victoria nods as her tears keep flowing and Bianca still has a look of pure shock on her face. After we wrap up breakfast, I tell Bianca to call the doctor and schedule her mother’s surgery. She wraps her arms around my waist, crying, and chokes out a thank you.

When my family leaves, the girls come and snuggle up on the couch with me. “Daddy, can we watch Nemo?” Mari whispers. Kissing her forehead, I tell her yes and put the movie on. Bianca eventually joins us, and I smile through the entire movie. I didn’t think something so simple could be so rewarding, but I could sit here and do this all day. When the movie is over, the girls get up and gush about all the adventures of the lost fish.

“Baby, I want to take you somewhere. Is it okay if the girls go to my parents?”

“Yes, it fine.” She didn’t even hesitate, so that must mean she’s getting comfortable with me and my family. We take the girls to my parents’ and it’s like a madhouse in here. Kids are playing everywhere, and my parents have Chase and Elena in their arms.

“How do your parents watch all these kids?” Bianca asks in awe.

“It’s a complete cakewalk now. In the beginning, they didn’t have the help of the nannies, but even then, they didn’t struggle. My parents love kids, so they kidnap them all whenever they get a chance.”

Before we leave, I take one last look at my girls playing with my niece, Angel, and I head out the door with my arm slung over Bianca’s shoulder. I lead her to my bike in the driveway and see her eyes go wide. “Have you ever ridden on a bike before, Coco?” She shakes her head, still looking at the bike in horror. “It’s simple, babe. Just hold on tight to me. Lean when I lean, and keep your feet here,” I say, pointing to the foot pegs on my bike.
