I give in to my release and come with rough groans in her ear. Buried to the hilt, I don’t move as I fill her full of cum, each pulse shooting deep. It’s intoxicating, and once I’m done, I remain this way for seconds, minutes, maybe.

“Is the baby okay?” I murmur, smoothing my hand over her belly.

She laughs at me. “The baby is perfectly fine. Just like I say every single time we have sex.”

“You can never be too safe.”

“She’s perfect, Oliver,” she says, satiating me.

The announcement that she was pregnant came three months ago after only one spent trying. After the night of the grand opening of Linnea and Lillies ten months ago, she was adamant about being unsure whether she wanted another child, but when Adalyn gave birth to a tiny baby girl she and Cooper named Valerie, she changed her mind in an instant. Baby fever hit her hard, and I agreed with no hesitation.

Being the second father figure in Nova’s life has filled me with more purpose than anything else ever has. I love my role in her life, and I knew without a doubt that I was ready for a baby. Especially with the love of my life.

I kiss her neck, over the red mark I left. “And you? Are you perfect?”

She rolls to face me, and I relax my hold until she’s comfortable. “I’m even better than perfect. Happy and loved. Grateful.”

“Me too, princess.”

“I am hungry, though.”

I tuck her hair behind her ear and kiss her, revelling in the soft feel of her mouth.

“Then let’s get you something to eat.”

She shoves away from me and throws herself over the bed toward where the room service menu rests on the nightstand. I chuckle and sit against the headboard, watching her.

Goosebumps cover her arms, and in a blink, she reaches over the edge of the bed and grabs my dress shirt before slipping it on. Leaving it open, she sits cross-legged beside me and starts flipping through the menu.

With her hair messy and skin flushed, I can’t help but stare at her, enamoured with how beautiful she looks with no effort. My wife, my life. My future.

“You’re staring at me. I can feel it,” she notes, not lifting her eyes from the menu.

“You’re too beautiful to look away from.”

Her lips tug into a smirk. “If you want me to order you extra hash browns, just say so.”

“I always want extra hash browns, but that’s not why I said that, and you know it.”

She glances at me, her smirk slowly morphing into a demure smile. “I love you, Oliver.”

“I love you too, princess.”

“Now, waffles or pancakes?” she asks, tugging her lip between her teeth as she reads the menu.

I don’t have time to answer before there are three knocks on our hotel room door. With a curious expression, she peels her attention from the menu and glances at the door. I kiss her cheek and step off the bed to tug on some underwear.

“I’ll check who it is. You can order the waffles,” I say.

She tugs the duvet over her bare legs and does up the buttons on my shirt up before I leave her in bed.

“Tell them to go away,” she calls. “Unless it’s your mom.”

“If anything was wrong with Nova, she’d callfirst, baby.”

“Still.”

I nod and unlock the secondary lock on the door before pulling it open. My brother’s face isn’t one I was expecting to see this morning.
