I shake my head. “Did I think you were hot as fuck? Yes. Did I want to know what was going on in your head? Also, yes. But did I like you? No.”

“What changed your mind?”

“You hunted and terrorized me, so I’ve probably got some type of captivity bond going on. Finn kept humping my leg like a puppy, so I decided to direct that manic energy towards my vagina and put it to good use.”

Finn asks, “What about Pax?”

“What about him?”

“What changed your mind about him?”

I could think of something snarky to say, but I don’t. Instead, I tell the truth.

“I didn’t change my mind about him. We found common ground when Pax changed his mind about himself.”

Pax

The guys told me about their conversation with Thea. They were putting feelers out to see where we all stand. Understandably, her feelings for me would dictate whether we should even go through with this plan.

Even if she doesn’t want me, I’d go through with it to support my friends. They don’t think that’ll be a problem and neither do I.

I lean against the door frame, watching her finish her workout. I’m still amazed at the commitment she gives in the gym even when nobody’s watching.

Truth is, I’m amazed at everything about her. I misjudged her in the beginning, lumping her in with my general distrust of everyone’s motives, and my fear of revealing myself to people. My fear of being teased, rejected for wanting something people find unconventional in sex.

But she’s slowly changed my mind. I see the care and attention she gives to Holden and Finn, and I’m actually taking time to recognize her struggles.

Plus, she’s willing to help me explore giving up control, and I’m not worried about being emasculated by her afterwards. We can flop the dominant role. I love the power play between us. I know she does, too.

There’s just one thing niggling at me. I’ve heard Thea talking to LJ about her plans to leave Canyon Falls. The decision to join The League isn’t a temporary choice. After graduation, there is no life that doesn’t include them.

She’s watching me through the mirror as she kicks her heel forward, pressing down on her upper thigh to stretch out her calf. “Take a picture. It’ll last longer, Big Guy.”

My chest puffs out whenever she calls me that. Not because I think she’s taking about the size of my dick or anything, but because she’s given me a pet name like she has everyone else. I zero in on her ass, bent in the air, growing semi hard behind my zipper.

I walk over to her and grab her hips, jerking her against me. I tug her shorts and panties down to her knees.

“I’m sweaty and sticky.”

“I don’t care.” I press my hands between her shoulder blades, pushing her forward more, and lower my jeans enough to release my hard length. I hate having to take the time to roll on a condom. I’m desperate to feel her with nothing between us. But none of us are going raw until we’ve been tested, and have our preliminary contracts in place.

I notch the head of my dick against her opening, teasing her with shallow strokes.

“If we’re gonna do this, we don’t have time for slow. Anyone could come in and see us, Pax.”

“Let them. Let them see and run back and gossip about it. It’ll make the paperwork for our contract go through faster.”

“What contract?”

“The one you’re gonna sign, agreeing to belong to all of us.”

“Huh?”

She straightens, elbows me and steps away. I stroke myself, unbothered by her attitude. I knew she’d react like this. “What did you think that interrogation was about the other day?”

“The three of you picking a new companion to share.”
