Phin let out a roaring snarl, his head thrown back as his release hovered just over the horizon. Karwin opened his bond with them and added his sexual bliss to their own, all three crying out as their mutual release rocked through them. It seemed to rebound from one person to the other, slowly growing less in intensity, slowly easing until Karwin lay panting on his back. Somehow, he’d fallen onto the bed. He found himself in a tangle of sweaty limbs with Tara and Phin. They all stared up at the night sky, their souls still intertwining like mist swirling together.
“That was…” Tara let out a shaking breath. “Wow.”
Raising her hand to his lips, Karwin kissed her knuckles. Satisfaction filled him. “Then it was a job well done. We thank you for your compliment, my bride.”
“You’re welcome, my groom,” she said in a teasing voice. “By the way, since you guys seem to have this whole ‘elopement’ thing planned out, when are we going to go through the bonding ceremony Jaz was talking about? You’ve got the milk, now you need to buy the cow.”
“Milk?” Phin asked.
“Cow?” Karwin added. “Is this some human bonding ceremony tradition I am unaware of?”
Laughing, Tara shook her head. “No, no. Sorry, keep forgetting you guys don’t know Earth slang. It means, now that we’ve had sex, you won’t bother to marry me because you got what you want.”
Confused, Karwin rubbed his cheek against her shoulder. “But we want all of you, not just sex.”
“Awww, that’s sweet.” She patted his cheek while Phin ran his fingertips up and down her stomach. “And I want all of you as well. Not just your massive dicks. You can really stretch a girl out.”
“Was I too hard on you?” Phin asked in a teasing voice. “Maybe we should take a look at our mate, examine her to make sure she is uninjured.”
“Excellent idea,” Karwin gripped one of her thighs in his hand. “We must take care of our Matriarch.”
“Wait,” Tara said while laughing and batting at their hands. “When are we getting bonded?”
“As soon as we have pleasured every inch of your body,” Phin spread Tara’s legs wide. “Now, hush. Be a goodalyahand feed you men your cum.”
Chapter 11
Tara
Nervously tugging at the crystal covered sleeves of her wedding gown, Tara looked over her shoulder at Jaz, who adjusted her bridal cape. Evidently, in the Northern Continents tradition, where Phin was from, a Warrior would hunt down a fearsome beast with only a knife, a sword, a bow, and his wits. In Phin’s case, he’d hunted down some kind of giant mole whose skin was as shiny and glimmering as a black Tahitian pearl. The skin then had been tanned by Phin and sewn into a cape for Tara by his mother.
A mother she had yet to meet.
Part of her felt like they were rushing things, but the other part craved the final connection of the bonding ceremony. Once it was done and she was officially a Kadothian Matriarch, she could return to Earth and convince Lacey to come to Kadothia with her. Tara didn’t think she’d have much of a problem talking her adventurous daughter and granddaughter into the journey of a lifetime.Maybe Lacey has bondmates waiting for her in the Bel’Tan Galaxy? Her daughter deserved someone who would worship and love her in the way only bondmates could.
Worship Tara was thoroughly enjoying from her own men.
“You got that starry-eyed look again,” Jaz said with a smile as she gave Tara a critical up and down inspection. “Okay, so we’ve got the cape from Phin, and the flowers for your hair from Karwin … I can’t think of anything we’re missing. You ready?”
Tara touched the area behind her ear where they’d placed the tiny crystal supposed to translate any language. “I’ll be able to understand what the Priestess is saying through this, right?”
“Yep. After the ceremony…and private celebration you’ll have with your mates, you’ll get upgraded to a complete Kadothian mental crystal as well as all the other fun upgrades they give us.”
One of those upgrades was, once the Kadothian scientists finished readying her body for life in the Bel’Tan Galaxy, that she’d look twenty years younger. Before that happened, she wanted a chance to talk to Lacey and tell everyone goodbye. Her cover story was to meet Lacey at an Army base in Europe where she’d been newly stationed with Jillian. A thin excuse at best, but better than nothing. She would be leaving behind a crystal with her aunt and uncle which contained a pre-recorded holograph of herself explaining where they really went.
To a galaxy far…far away.
Holding back a giggle, Tara looked in the mirror and fiddled with the orange, sparkling flowers in her hair. “Are they ready for us?”
Jaz’s gaze went distant for a moment, then she nodded with a smile. “Mavet says your bondmates are about to climb the walls with nerves, but they’re ready.”
A pang of sadness went through her. She wished Lacey and Jillian could be there, but the men assured her they would have a large celebration back on Kadothia to make up for the lack of pomp and circumstance. Not that Tara minded. A small, intimate ceremony with just her men, Jaz and her husbands was perfect. The ceremony would be recorded for Phin and Karwin’s friends and family to watch, so she hoped she didn’t screw up. From what the men said, the ceremony itself was as simple or complex as the bondmates wanted it to be. Thankfully, like her the men, she wanted to go for quick and easy.
“Show time,” Jaz whispered. The door slid open, revealing a large circular room with arched wooden walkways set over purple and blue swirled waters.
Overhead, white, orange, and yellow flowers dripped down from the ceiling. Each blossom released little sparks that fizzled before they reached the water below. On the other side of the room, on a large platform with a short, pale blue woman in a white and green robe, stood her men. Both wore black harem-like pants and matching sleeveless black shirts belted at the waist. Karwin wore some kind of heavy gold and ruby looking necklace, while Phin sported what looked like glowing ivy woven into his hair. They were so handsome, her breath stopped for a moment as they met her wondering gaze.
The tiny blue woman smiled, revealing a double row of sharp silver teeth. “Tara Taylor of Earth, be welcome into the home of the Lord of Life. How do you approach?”
