Pleasure washed over me and filled my brain with warm fuzzies. I sucked in air through my nose as I shook. Still, Colt didn’t fuck me harder, the way he’d done lately. He kept the same slow, gentle pace. It brought tears to my eyes, feeling his love through his touch. He was there with me, in the middle place between the past and present.

I lost myself as they took me. I felt like the world had shifted just so to align the stars to give me what I wanted and needed. Noah pulled out and wiped my eyes.

“I love you so much, B.”

Colt froze buried deep inside me and I felt him coming as he called my name. Even as he started to soften, he stayed in me, stroking my back and whispering my name. “Brooke… I love you. Should’ve told you a decade ago.”

Logan took Colt’s place behind me and he fucked me more intensely than he had the first time. I could hear the ragged way he was breathing and knew he was on the edge already. His hands were tight on my waist and he peppered kisses up and down my spine between hoarse words. “So perfect. So ours. This is forever, baby. My perfect little bunny. I love you. I love you so much. Jesus, Brooke, I love you. Do you understand that?”

I came with a gasp as he drove his hips into me. Noah fed his thumb into my mouth and watched my body as it rocked backand forth. He stroked himself with his other hand and I couldn’t tear my eyes away.

Logan came with one last thrust and Noah didn’t waste time. He turned me over and braced his hands on either side of my head as he thrust deep. I grabbed for anything to brace myself as he thrust hard and fast. Colt and Logan each grabbed a hand and held it down. Noah lowered his mouth to mine and kissed me hard. His thrusts brushed my clit and just the sensation of having them all touching me was enough to push me towards the edge and then over it. I came hard, my body clamping down around Noah. I broke our kiss to cry out and the words that slipped free seemed to push Noah past his control.

“I love you! I love all of you!”

Noah froze and came, his seed joining Colt and Logan’s inside me. In the silence after we’d all come and caught our breath, Noah let out a tired laugh. “Maybe you should’ve waited to declare your love until we lasted a little longer than we did tonight. That was kind of embarrassing.”

Logan growled. “We’re not even talking about it.”

I sat up and looked down at them. “I’m pregnant.”

Colt sat up so fast that he hit his head on the small shelf the single cupcake candle was resting on. The candle rolled off and thankfully put itself out before burning down our new treehouse. It left us in the pitch dark, though, meaning I couldn’t see their expressions after telling them the news that Aunt Karlene had finally passed on to me.

“Are you sure?” Colt’s voice seemed hesitant. “I don’t want to jinx anything by celebrating before we know for sure.”

Just that sentence made my chest crack the rest of the way open for them. I smiled and wiped more tears from my eyes. At least they were happy tears, though. “Aunt Karlene told me and then I did a quick test at Dr. White’s office.”

“The vet?!” Logan was sitting up right beside me. “Are we pregnant with an animal?”

“It was just easier since I was already there. It’s real. I’m pregnant. We’re having a baby.” I let out a watery laugh. “I wish I could see your faces.”

Noah grabbed me and pulled me into his lap. Our teeth knocked as we tried to kiss in the dark. “You’re pregnant.”

I held him tight. “I’m going to do everything right this time. I’m going to be perfect and-”

“Brooklyn.” Colt’s hard voice was still full of warmth but I could hear the censure in it. “You didn’t cause the first loss. I know you and I know you didn’t do anything to put our baby in danger. You were young and it happened. I’m so fucking sorry that I implied it was something you’d done.”

More tears leaked faster. “I’m scared of it happening again.”

“No matter what, we’re together now, little bunny.” Logan stroked my hair. “We’ve got a lot of making up to do. We don’t deserve you. We’re going to fight to, though.”

“I just want to forget about the last decade and start making up for lost time. With Lucy and this little baby we made. I love you guys.”

“Come here, baby. Let’s start making up for it now.” Colt pulled me into his lap and groaned as he slid himself inside me. “I love you, Brooke. How exactly do you think a proper proposal should go?”

I laughed around a moan and then felt Noah and Logan’s hands join Colt in making up for that lost time. Whatever thoughts I’d had vanished as they worked hard to convince me that marrying them was the best idea ever. Little did they know, I’d already made up my mind.

One Year Later

Maybe it should’ve been weird that my ex-wife was my new wife’s maid of honor. It wasn’t. Kelly had played a big part in speeding up the timeline for us. I know we would’ve ended up with Brooke, just like we were meant to, but I felt like it would’ve taken much longer. We might’ve been crazy by the time we all got our shit together. So, no, looking across the aisle as we waited for Brooke and seeing Kelly wasn’t weird.

Sinclair was standing next to her mom, acting as bridesmaid. She’d insisted that she was too old to be a flower girl, which had sent me into a small spiral. It didn’t matter that she was officially a big sister; she was my little baby. Apparently my panic wasn’tenough of a reason to force Sin into a role she didn’t want. So she was standing next to her mom, looking a little too grown up with the slight makeup Kelly had allowed.
