“I haven’t done this dance in a few years. I'm surprised I still remember,” Deja said breathlessly.

“This used to be my shit,” Olivia said as she moved her hips.

When the song ended, they made their way off the dance floor and ordered another drink.

“I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Tell me why we don't do this every week?” Deja teased.

“Because you didn't want to go out while we were in school and after school you were too worried about finding a job that you stayed home and were glued to the internet.”

“I'm glad you convinced me to come out,” she smiled.

Stephen Farrow walked into the club with his partner and best friend Caleb Johnson and one of their clients. Caleb suggested they take the client out for his last night in town. Stephen wanted to go home, but Caleb convinced him to come. They walked right in and were escorted to the VIP section. After being there for about an hour, their client noticed Deja and Olivia on the dance floor. He had his hostess send them a drink and asked them to join them.

“Here’s to starting a great new job,” Olivia said as she raised her shot glass.

“We already did three toasts on that,” Deja said as she laughed. They both smiled at the hostess when she approached their table.

“The gentlemen over there sent you ladies a drink and asked if you would like to join them.” They looked over at the table and smiled. “Damn girl, they are fine.”

“Nope, not interested, and besides, we are getting ready to leave,” Deja protested.

“Can you tell them thanks for the drink but no thanks?” Olivia responded.

The hostess nodded with a smile before walking away.

“You are going to regret turning down having a drink with those fine men tomorrow” Olivia paused as she took a sip of her drink and rolled her eyes at Deja. “Because I know I’m already regretting it.”

The hostess walked back over to the men. “The women thanked you for the drinks but declined the offer to join you.” She paused. “Is there anything else I can get for you?” she asked with a smile.

“No, thanks.” Caleb responded.

Stephen looked over at the women and there was something familiar about the taller one. Then he remembered her. She had filled out more in all the right places. She wasn’t as skinny as she was in high school. He focused on her.

Yes, that’s definitely her.

His mood instantly soured, and he was ready to go. He was no longer in the mood to socialize. “I’m going to head out. I have an early appointment.” Stephen stood and drained his glass. “You two enjoy the rest of your night. It looks like those ladies changed their mind,” he said with a smirk as he darted his eyes at the woman walking towards their table.

“I’m only doing this because I don’t want to hear about this for the next month.” Deja said as they stood to walk. “If they are creepy or I give you the signal we are out,” Deja grabbed Olivia’s hand, so that she was looking at her. “I mean it Liv, if I give the signal we are leaving.” Deja pleaded with Olivia. “Show me the signal.”

Olivia rolled her eyes and put her pinky finger against her bottom lip.

“Good. If I give the signal, we have to go.”

“I promise, you give the signal, and we are out.” Olivia said with a huff.

“Okay,” Deja said as they walked towards the VIP section.

Olivia was the first to speak when they arrived at the table. “I hope the invitation is still open?”

Both men stood.

“Of course, it is. My name is Caleb, and this is my Jason Weiss, one of my business associates.”

“I thought there were three of you?” Deja asked.

“My friend had to leave, but I’m sure we can make sure you ladies have an enjoyable time,” Caleb said with a smirk. “Please have a seat.” His eyes perused Olivia’s body as Jason smiled at Deja and motioned her to sit next to him.

Caleb ordered another round of drinks and they talked for a few minutes until a song came on that prompted Olivia to dance in her seat.
