We were selfish when it came to our free time.

Spending it with each other was how we wanted to use that time, but I knew that would soon change.

Or not.

Ourhoneymoonstage was still strong.

Could you blame us though?

“You couldn’t get them out fast enough, huh?” Ezra grinned after closing the door and turning to me.

He placed both hands on my cheeks and leaned in to kiss my forehead.

“Neither could you,” I laughed, putting my hands on his chest.

“True,” he said, grinning. “Let’s clean up. Good thing we didn’t do presents this year.”

I nodded. “I don’t have any ideas for presents anymore. You either just get them a gift card, or something you know they will never use but act like they love it.”

“Exactly.” He pressed his lips to mine, then gave my ass a quick slap before nodding toward the table. “Come on. We got a few episodes to finish watching, then we should head to bed.”

“But it’s not even ten,” I said, frowning up at him.

“I know. But I got something planned for us tomorrow, and I need you to be full of energy.”

I frowned at him.

“What have you planned for us?”

“You’ll see. Now, go change into something more comfortable.”

He let go of me, but as he walked to the table, I just stood there wondering what it was that he had planned.

I heard him chuckle, and with plates in his hands, he walked into the kitchen. “I’m not gonna tell you where we’re going, Juno. Go put your pajamas on.”

“We agreed on no presents, Ezra,” I said, sighing.

“It’s not really a present. More a surprise.”

“Even worse,” I muttered. “I didn’t get you or plan anything for us. I feel bad now.”

“Don’t. Just put your damn pajamas on and sit your sweet ass on the couch.”

I raised a brow and watched him for a second before I made my feet take me to the bedroom.

“When you’re old and grumpy and I’m still young and fun, I don’t wanna hear a word about me not getting you a present or surprising you with something this Christmas.”

A laugh came from the kitchen, and although I didn’t see him, I knew he was rolling his eyes at me.

“At least I know you’re willing to stay with me even if I’m old and grumpy.”

Not only that, but I would be right there by his side forever.

Surprising Juno with a spa day got one of the best reactions out of her.

She was unsure at first, but when she saw all the things we could do all day long, she was excited and happy.
