“I’m a big boy. Besides, I plan to burn off plenty of calories before I leave here.” He turns to me and winks.
“What party are you supposed to be at this time?”
I know from Nicole that he’s been telling his brother that he’s been out partying all the time, but he’s not partying. Not unless you consider beating the brakes off my pussy a party.
“Hamilton was going on and on about some party. Cal assumed I was going with the guys. I didn’t correct him.”
“Who knew you were going to become an anatomy major at the last second of your collegiate career?”
Cam laughs as he leans his butt against my desk and looks me over like he wants to devour me. I smile as I notice the growing bulge in his jeans.
This man has become an addiction for me. It’s not just sex though. We have so much fun hanging out together.
He keeps my mind off the bullshit. I know we both enjoy it when Dez calls while Cam is eating me out. It’s like Cam does it on purpose.
He knows when it’s time for my calls from Dez and right before, he gets me worked up and ends up with his blond head between my thighs. Each time I answer Dez and act as if nothing is going on. However, after the last time, I don’t think we should do that again.
I almost screamed into the phone at one point. Cam had his face buried so deep in my honeypot and he was doing that thing with his fingers and tongue. I was ready to come out of my body and just barely managed to get off the phone before I gave myself away.
“Have you thought any more about what I said about running away together?” Cam asks, pulling me from my thoughts.
I lock gazes with him. Looking into his eyes, I know this is what he was really thinking about. My heart begins to race a little.
I focus on anything but his eyes as he stares through me. His playlist is once again playing in the background. I’ve given up on trying to school him on other groups. His obsession is real.
I actually don’t mind it anymore. It is what it is. I’ve accepted it as a part of Cam.
“Huh?” I reply.
“At the beginning of the semester, I said I would take off with you. Have you thought any more about what I said? Would you consider it now?”
“I thought you were joking. You have your family and everything here. You can’t just run off with me.”
“Why not?” He lights up, then pulls the joint from his lips and frowns at me.
“For one, you have your brother. You’ve never said anything, but I get that he needs you somehow. He’s important to you.
“I’m not asking why or what that’s all about, but I get that you’re supporting him in some way. Caleb means the world to you. I would never come between you two.”
Several emotions come to his face as he stands there silently. The air fills with a thick tension and I’m not sure which way this conversation is going to go. He could grab his things and storm out, or maybe, just maybe, he’ll open up to me.
Still not saying a word, he takes a pull from theLin his hand, then tips his head back and blows the smoke out. I do notice he’s bouncing one of his legs. Then as if a string has snapped, he drops his head back down and picks up his phone from the desk.
He taps at it a few times before dropping the phone back on the desk. The song changes and “Feenin’” comes on. Slowly, he begins to stalk toward the bed with the blunt hanging out the side of his mouth.
I watch as he climbs up the bed like he’s stalking his prey. When he gets to my legs, he lifts my bent one and wraps it around his waist. Pulling the blunt from his lips, he leans over me and hovers his mouth over mine.
I open for him to share the shotgun, and he breathes the smoke into my mouth. I moan when he slips his hand under my shirt and palms my breast, flicking my nipple with his thumb. Cam takes my lips and kisses me passionately, but something feels different about this kiss.
“I’ve wanted to tell you something for a long time,” he starts, but my phone rings.
I groan and roll my eyes. People have the worst timing. Sometimes I feel like someone is watching and letting everyone know when Cam is here, so my phone will start to ring and interrupt.
Knowing most times it’s Dez calling to annoy me, I don’t want to reach for my phone. However, I do and I bare my teeth as I see his name on the screen.
Cam huffs and flops onto his back beside me. The moment between us completely shattered. I glance at him as he pulls from the blunt he placed back in his mouth. Good thing there’s another one.
I don’t miss the frustrated and pensive look on his face. Suddenly, he stands and leaves the room. A deep, bereft feeling settles in the pit of my stomach. Shaking my thoughts off, I answer the call.
