Their foreheads press together as Boris slows his pace. My cum leaks from her, slowly being pumped with each thrust. The sight has me rock hard once again, seeing my release pooled around the old man’s cock and all over the counter as he leisurely rocks in and out of her. He grabs her jaw, forcing their eyes to connect.

“That’s my girl,” he praises, and just like that, she shatters.

Her body goes limp as he lazily drives into her until his cum is dripping out alongside mine. When he eases back, we both catch her as she nearly falls off of the counters edge.

She chuckles, shaking her head. “There is no way I’m walking anytime soon.”

“That is okay,Lisichka. I have you.” Boris scoops her into his arms as hers tangle around his neck.

I feel like we are in a bubble here, protected from the outside world. Part of me doesn't want to leave. I don’t want to go back to Norway and finish this fight; I just want to lay here and appreciate my girl.

The suite connected to the bathroom has a large bed with dark purple accents and a starry sky for a ceiling, each light twinkling every so often. The atmosphere is serene.

“I never knew you loved the stars so much,” I say, crawling into the bed next to her.”

She turns to me, her nose wrinkling in confusion. “I love them because of you.”

“Me?” I question while Boris pulls Nessa’s back to him. We get comfortable together as Nessa turns her head to look up at the twinkling lights.

“As long as the stars are in the sky, my love for you will shine bright. That’s what you told me the night before everything changed. It’s what I held onto when I felt like I was being stripped of who I was to my very core. The stars reminded me of who I was. I was someone worthy of your love, and even when it didn’t feel like it, that someone was worth fighting for.”

Her words make my hands tremble as they cup her face. “You will always be worth fighting for.”

I remember the moment I said those words to her, staring up at the night sky. They felt so simple then, like a small reminder I would always be there for her. It makes me feel like I did something right by giving her something she could look to on those bad days.

“I love you, Sweetheart.”

“I love you too, Killer.”

Chapter 44

I can already tell when we walk into the house back in Norway that there is bad news. So much for the little bubble we just created. I could swear I actually hear a little pop.

And I do. It’s Cillian chewing gum like an obnoxious eight year old boy.

“Killer. Chew it right or I’ll make you choke on it,” I whisper-shout as we head over to Dr. K and Doc. They are having a heated discussion while their eyes flit across the room.

“Is that a promise, Sweetheart?”

I slap him in the stomach, causing him to cough. “Why don’t you test me and find out.”

“Nessa,” Dr. K calls out as she runs over. “We need to talk to you.”

“I still quite literally have my bag in my hand. Can it wait?”

She shakes her head quickly while typing on her phone. “No.”

Turning on her heel, she walks out of the room, and Doc shakes his head, fear evident in his gaze.

“K, my lady, what’s going on?” Cillian asks.

I notice that she has to compose herself, and it would normally make me laugh, but not today.

“Ronan left a note, and a picture with a message.”

“Where?” I ask as my nerves threaten to get the best of me.

“A man slowly bleeding out approached one of our guards. He said that if he gave the message then his family would live.” Based on her pale face and wringing hands, it’s easy to see he lied.
