“Relax,” I said, my voice soft. “You’re always the one in control. Just… let me, just this once.”

He tilted his head, his expression unreadable, but he didn’t stop me as I gently guided his arms back, securing his wrists to the headboard.

“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” he murmured, sounding amused as I tightened the knots.

“A little,” I admitted, my cheeks flushing as I leaned in, my lips brushing against his. “But mostly, I’m just proving a point.”

“And what point is that?” he asked in a low rumble that sent a shiver down my spine.

“That even you,” I whispered with a mischievous smile, “can be bested sometimes.”

His laugh was deep and genuine, though his eyes glinted with a promise that made my heart skip a beat. “Careful, baby girl. You might not like what happens when I get free.”

I leaned back, my smile turning smug. “That’s a risk I’m willing to take.”

I stood back for a moment, letting the sight of Aleksei tied to the headboard really sink in. His wrists were bound with soft silk, the muscles in his arms taut but relaxed. His expression challenged me, but there was also a hint of amusement in his eyes.

“I hope you’re enjoying yourself,” he said, his voice low and filled with that all too familiar confidence.

“Oh, I am,” I replied, stepping closer, my fingers brushing against the first button of his shirt. “More than you can imagine.”

His dark eyes locked onto mine as I slowly undid the top button. The fabric parted slightly, revealing the strong lines of his collarbone and the faint scar that cut across his skin.

I traced the edge of the scar lightly with my fingertips, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath my touch. “You never told me how you got this,” I said, my voice soft.

“It’s a long story,” he said, his lips curving into a faint smile.

“I’ve got time,” I answered, undoing the next button, my hands steady despite the heat pooling in my stomach.

He smirked, his gaze dropping to my hands as they worked.

“Careful, baby girl. You might start thinking you’re in control.”

“Oh, I know I am,” I teased, letting the words hang in the air as I tugged open the fabric of his shirt, exposing the expanse of his chest and revealing every inch of his perfectly sculpted torso.

My breath hitched slightly, my fingers skimming over his skin as I drank him in. He was strong, lean, and undeniably gorgeous, every line and curve of his body so perfect that he could be carved out of marble.

“You like what you see,” he said, his voice teasing but low with a hint of something darker.

“I like a lot of things about you,” I admitted. “But right now, I’m enjoying this view.”

He chuckled, the sound rich and velvety, sending shivers racing down my spine. “Keep going, baby girl. Let’s see how far you’re willing to take this.”

I smirked, stepping back slightly to unbuckle his belt, the metallic click loud in the quiet room. His gaze didn’t waver, his eyes burning into mine as I tugged the belt free and dropped it to the floor.

“You’re so cocky,” I said, unbuttoning his pants and slowly sliding down the zipper.

“And you love it,” he replied, his voice a soft rumble that sent heat coursing through me.

I didn’t answer, but the flush on my cheeks probably said more than words ever could. His confidence was infuriating, intoxicating, and completely irresistible.

As I slid his pants down, revealing more of his perfect body, I couldn’t help but smile. He might be tied up now, but the look in his eyes made it clear—he was still the one in charge.

Or at least, he wanted me to think so.

I took a step back, letting my hands drift to the hem of my dress. His gaze darkened as I slowly slid it up, revealing more of my thighs, and the black lace of my panties.

“Keep going,” he urged, his voice low and rough, like gravel smoothed by velvet.
