I nodded, “Alright. Thanks for looking for them, Bex.” Bexley was practically vibrating; she was so excited. Aiden laughed, “Calm down, Bexley. We don’t know for sure what she left for him.” Bexley was gleeful, “Doesn’t it just make sense though?” Haley huffed, “Yes.” Bexley clapped.

Jordan questioned, “What’s happening? Why would fairy keys have anything to do with you two?” I looked at Heath again letting him know I was leaving this up to him. Heath decided to tell them, “Recently we discovered keys our parents hid in their home. Those keys turned out to be keys to the super-secret fairy bank.” Jordan gaped, “What? How did they….?” He looked at Haley. His eyes narrowed, “Your mother sought them out, didn’t she? She had sight.” Haley nodded. Jordan sighed, “Fairy’s.”

Aiden chimed in, “The words you're looking for are thank you fairies. Now, I don’t know if I like any of you enough to take you Scott’s with us. Besides Lexi and her brother. Her, I like and owe a great deal.” I smiled. He didn’t owe me, but I’d take him thinking he did. I merely encouraged him to voice his concerns to Haley as her brother. That was for her though.

Charlotte spoke, “What if just James and Jasper went with you to this fairy place? Lexi knows and likes them.” Jordan argued, “I’m going.” Charlotte quietly said, “Dad, we can wait for them right here. They said this box probably has to do with the Vampire King.” They had a silent stare down that Scarlett got in on.

Jordan sighed, “Alright, but you’ll bring them back here. I promised my brother I’d do better by them. From here on out I consider them my own kids.” I teared up. Haley conjured me tissues commenting, “Hormones. Aren’t they such a bitch?” I grabbed the box and nodded. Chase squeezed my thigh.

King Arthur came in with Susanna and Robert. He had the necklace in his hands. Bexley took out some fairy necklace as well. They matched together, like pieces of a puzzle. Aiden clapped, “Right so Jasper and James, hop on the fairy train. Our group is quite large, this should be fun. Let’s go wolves.”

He instructed, “Emmaline get your group. I’ll bring the Scott’s and the Daniels.” Dylan squealed, “We get to go, Lucas! HELL YES! ONWARD TO THE SUPER SECRET SPECIAL FAIRY VAULT! UP, UP AND AWAY WE POP!”

Aiden grabbed my shoulder and popped. Chase, Frank, and Cameron ended up coming with Heath, Allie, James, and Jasper. Aiden shrugged, “The others didn’t hop on fast enough. Oh well.” Haley had grabbed Eric, Jackson, and Molly. Emmaline had Alpha Lucas and Dylan.

Dylan squealed, “LOOK at this lobby it’s like being inside glitter.” I looked around and found Dylan was right. It was all very sparkly and shiny. A pop sounded. Chase had me behind him in second. The woman who’d popped blew bubble gum. She greeted, “Your majesties. How may we serve you?”

Aiden conjured both necklace keys into his hands. He said, “We would like to see the box that goes with these keys.” Haley held up one of the keys from my house. It matched the color of the necklaces. Heath shot me a look. Clearly, the colors would match the fairy key. We’d have to show Haley Heath’s keys.

The lady was apparently a bank worker. She studied them and nodded. She smiled at Bexley and King Arthur. She said, “You were these key piece holders. Who is this one’s holder?” Heath answered, “My sister and I.” The lady nodded, “Alright. To the viewing area.”

Dylan whisper yelled, “The viewing area! I’m so intrigued I can barely stand it. Someone pinch me.” He yelped, “It’s an expression, GAP!” Eric shrugged, “I was trying to help you. You asked for someone to pinch you.”

Dylan nudged Aiden, “Sure, he’d like you to believe he’d help me right off a cliff King Fire Hands. Secretly, he loves me.” Aiden laughed, “I’m positive he’d help me off a cliff.” Eric snorted, “Not as things currently stand.” Aiden raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment.

We were all led into a rainbow colored room. There were two devices that looked like usb drives waiting for us. Haley popped to me explaining, “It’s a port. You touch it and a video plays.” The bank worker added, “The one on the left is for King Arthur and Duchess Bexley. Congratulations Duchess on your new title.” Bexley nodded.

The woman continued, “The one on the left is for the Scott siblings. Once you have viewed your ports feel free to take them with you. Then if you would walk through those doors to the showing area,” she pointed ahead of us, “your things will be waiting.” She popped away.

King Arthur was emotional. He had a slight tick in his hand. That was a big moment for a vampire as old as he was. I offered, “You guys can go first.” King Arthur waved his hands, “No, you go ahead. I need a moment to wrap my mind around seeing my Faelynn again after all this time. I never thought I’d get the chance.”

Heath and I stepped forward. He grabbed my hand, and together we touched the port. The moment I saw my dad appear I started to cry. He smiled, “Hello Heath and Lexi. It seems so odd to do this. I just want you both to know how much I love you both. I hope you don’t see this for many years. Or I get to throw away this key.”

He wiped a few tears explaining, “This is about your future. I’m leaving you guys things here, so you have money. Your mother and I talked about who would have custody of you two if anything happened to us. After several heated debates we chose my twin brother, Jordan, and his wife.” WHAT?!

My dad groaned, “God, I hope I introduced you guys before seeing this. Jordan, I had the documents of custody delivered to your Shroud should anything happen to Allison and me. I know we had our fights, but we wrote letters all these years. You even came to see me and talk in my office.”

He admitted, “I kept all your letters. I miss you, little brother. I looked forward to the days you would come and speak with me in our Shroud. I know you’ll watch out for my children best. I grant you and our family as well as Allison’s and any other family who left, acceptance back into our Shroud, should they want it.”

My dad cried, “I should have never banished you, brother. I can’t remember why I even did. We had no evidence. I hope to tell you this in person, but I still have to pretend I’m fooled. I’m onto something big. We can discuss that another time. I love all of you.”

He added, “Take care of them Jordan. Guide Heath as I would have if I’m not there to do it myself. Our children can right the wrongs I made, and Heath and Jasper can lead together.” I was full on sobbing by the end. Heath held me as I cried. Who hid those documents from Jordan? Did he know about them and leave us alone?

Heath told me, “I don’t think he knew, Lex.” I stared at him, “Did I say that out loud?” Heath chuckled, “No, I know you though. I don’t think Uncle Jordan would’ve ignored what dad wanted. Dad’s wishes seem to be very important to him.”

Chase held me from behind adding, “I agree.” Jasper offered, “There’s no way dad knew that. Mom and dad talked about going and taking you guys a lot. If he knew he had custody of you and that we were all granted access to your Shroud again… He’d have moved home. He missed it there.”

I wiped my tears asking, “Where is your Shroud?” James smiled admitting, “Not far from yours. It’s on the opposite side of Alpha Sophia’s territory. It’s smaller than yours, but we call it home.” I asked, “Have you been to ours?”

James admitted, “Once. I dated a girl in yours for a hot second. She invited me in. I ran by Heath’s house, but neither of you were there.” Allie gasped, “I KNEW I’d seen you! You dated Misha, Tilly’s best friend.”

James confirmed, “I did date Misha, but I never met Tillie. Who are you? Other than my cousin’s string. Congratulations on that by the way you two.” Heath kissed Allie. He introduced them, “Allie, this is Jasper and James.”

Allie smiled and waved at them. Jasper said, “She’s sweet. Where can I find one? You have a sister, right Allie?” Allie nodded, “Tilly.” Jasper wiggled his eyebrows, “Does she have a string?” Allie shook her head, “No, she’s been looking though.” Jasper grinned, “I need to meet this Tilly, Heath.” Heath snorted, “You can meet her, Jasper.”

I noticed Allie was inching her fingers towards her phone. I gave her the distraction she needed, “Bex, King Arthur? Are you guys ready?” King Arthur took Bexley’s hand, and they stepped forward to touch the port. A beautiful woman who mirrored Bexley with longer hair smiled at them.

She greeted them, “Hello my lovelies. I do hope you are not seeing this video. I do so long to tell you in person, my love. Bexley, I hope I introduced you to my Arthur. He is one of a kind. Walking away from you, Arthur was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. If not for Bexley I would call it my biggest mistake. I cannot regret her though. You are a delight, Bexley.”
