“Hello.” I smiled from ear to ear.

Noah helped me into the carriage.

I looped my arm around Noah’s as he sat beside me. “This is so romantic.”

The horses strutted slowly down the main street. We waved at onlookers.

“Noah, I know you’re the Grinch. And that’s ok. You don’t have to make sweet gestures if it will stop the second, we move to Aspen.”

His lips fell upon mine briefly. “I’ll always show you how much you mean to me. We can’t stay in this silly Christmas town and not take advantage of the...”

“Noah, spit it out,” I chuckled.

“Festivities.”

I threw my head back, laughing harder.

“Hope, I’m trying.”

Slipping my hand around his neck, my lips melted against his.

“You are, baby.”

His handsome, tanned features softened. Noah’s big green eyes swept over my face. I could see the love in his eyes. He squeezed me tighter. I never wanted him to let me go.

“Hope, you don’t have to cook. We’ll order from Delish again.”

“Noah, it’s ok. I don’t mind.”

“Not tonight. I plan to bend you over the back of the sofa and fuck you until you’re squirting everywhere.”

I kissed him again. “Fuck yes. I want that so bad.”

A chuckle rattled his chest.

“Oh, not sure how I forgot to tell you, but I gave Stuart and Delila the deal.”

Pulling back, I glanced into his eyes. “You didn’t have to.”

“I shot Nolan a text after you stepped away from the table. I asked him if we sold Canyon beer in Christmasville. He said we didn’t. That’s a missed opportunity. This town will always hold a soft spot in my heart because it meant so much to my grandparents. Every restaurant, store, and night club will get a Christmasville discount.”

“I feel like I’m in the movie Scrooge. What happened? Did the ghost of Christmas future visit you?”

“Good one.”

My head rested against his chest. “Thank you.”

“No, Hope, thank you.”

Noah’s phone buzzed just as we sat down to eat dinner.

He propped his phone up against the jug of sweet tea.

“Hey, Noah. Shoot, you two are eating dinner. We forgot about the time difference.”

“It’s ok. What’s up?”
