“Really? That’s weird,” Troy observes.

“Now, you’re weird,” Jamie says to his friend, who scowls at him.

Jamie hands Noah back to me, his expression playful. “You ready to take care of this little monster while we’re out?”

“Always,” I say, smiling down at Noah, who’s gurgling happily.

“All right, we’ll be back soon,” Troy says, shooting me one last lingering look before he and Jamie head for the door.

Just as they’re about to leave, Jamie rushes back in. “Hey!” He cups my cheeks, surprising me. “Friday it is.”

“Yeah, Friday,” I echo, my heart racing.

He leans in and plants a quick kiss on my lips, and my cheeks heat up again. “Don’t think I forgot. I’ll see you then.”

With that, he’s gone, and I’m left standing there, breathless and giddy.

“Okay, Noah,” I say, shaking my head with a laugh. “Looks like we’ve got a lot to look forward to.”

Noah gurgles in response, his tiny hands reaching for my face. “What do you think, little man? Should we have some fun today?”

I pick him up, holding him close, and together, we move to the table to enjoy breakfast. As I sit down, I can’t help but replay the morning in my mind—the kisses, the laughter, and the excitement of what’s to come.

Just two months ago, I was a virgin, and now…I think I might have found myself in a harem of my own.

Chapter Twenty-One

Jared

“Honestly, man, thank you for picking them up,” Troy says, and I can hear the tension in his voice through the phone.

“Don’t mention it,” I reply. “Good luck at the game. Just focus.”

“I will. Just…it’s been a long few weeks. I’m glad to be back.”

“Yeah, I bet. Just try not to screw this up,” I chuckle, hanging up.

I take a deep breath and approach her place, my heart racing. It’s been too damn long since I’ve seen Savannah. I knock on the door, the sound echoing in the stillness.

When she opens the door, my breath catches. She’s in Troy’s jersey, that little miniskirt, and sneakers. The baby’s in her arms.

“Hey,” I manage, my voice low. “You look gorgeous.”

“Jared! Wow, I haven’t seen you in a while,” she beams, and I feel the warmth in her smile.

“Yeah, I was handling some things for the team. Had to travel a bit, but I got back this morning.” I take a step inside, my eyes glued to her. “You ready?”

“Yeah, I’m ready,” she nods, and I walk over, my heart pounding. As I lean in to kiss her, she stops me.

“Wait. Just so you know, I’m kind of sleeping with Troy...and I’ve slept with Jamie too.”

Wow. I laugh, trying to process it. “Damn, a lot’s changed since I left.”

“Yeah,” she says, a hint of mischief in her eyes. “But if that doesn’t bother you, you can still kiss me.”

“Oh, really?” I raise an eyebrow, intrigued. I take the baby carrier and set it on the counter, my heart racing. “I wanna do more than kiss you.”

Before she can respond, I take the baby out of her arms and place him in the baby carrier. I close the distance, capturing her lips with mine.
