Page 138 of Broken Bonds

I sit up, wiping my face off, taking a breath as a wave of warmth washes over me, leaving beads of sweat to form along my spine and down my neck. She raises a brow at me when she crouches down to pick two of the triplets up while Birdie holds onto her thigh to balance.

“Is there enough breastmilk to get them through the week?” she asks me, tickling Fisher.

“Yeah, Link will get the bags out of the freezer, and I packed them enough clothes and diapers earlier in the week. I’m going to miss them,” I say with a pout, my eyes watering as I look at my babies.

I haven’t been away from them since they came home, but I can’t deny that I’m excited about this heat. Excited because I plan to ask the men that fixed all my broken pieces to be mine indefinitely. To bond with me.

I want to feel them in my soul more than I fear the possibility of losing them.

I want their marks on my skin and to wear them proudly.

Most of all, I just want them. Forever.

“It’s just a few days, Sunshine. They’ll be right back here before you know it, and if you have a lucid moment where you want to see them, we can video call with Jillian to make it happen,” Link says, coming to kneel beside me.

I nod my head and sigh.

“Yeah, okay. Will you help her walk them over with their things? The stroller is still on the porch from the last walk we went on. I think I want to go lay down in the nest for a while,” I say, pulling Birdie into my arms and squeezing her.

I kiss her a million times before Jilly passes Dawson and Fisher over to me so I can do the same to them. With all three of my little ones in my arms, I hug them tight and tell them I love them as many times as I can before I feel the need to hide away in my nest.

Passing them off to Link and Jilly, I stand and grab their bags. Link takes them from me and kisses my cheek.

“I’ll be right back, okay?” he says, blue eyes looking into mine, and a cloud of my perfume erupts around us, making those blue eyes turn heated.

I bite my lip and wink at him before taking off to our room, shutting the door behind me. I squeeze my thighs together when the ache between them becomes too much, but it doesn’t help. My clothes feel suffocating, regardless of the fact that I’m wearing one of Forde’s shirts that swallows me whole, and I tug everything off and throw it away from me, taking a deep breath and sighing in relief.

Naked, I walk into the closet all the way to the back where there’s a hidden door. When we built this place, Rule decided he wanted to make sure my nest was always a safe space for me to hide, no matter what the circumstances were. So, he built me an enormous closet, and in the very back, he built a hidden nest.

I push the clothes out of the way and open the door, inhaling the scents of dark chocolate, whiskey, and peppermint that have taken up the space. A whine crawls up my throat as I close the door and crawl into the middle of the bedding and clothes, rolling myself around and letting it all rub against my sensitive flesh.

I must doze off for a few minutes between wrapping Forde’s shirts around me and the blanket Rion slept with for a week straight to make sure his scent was thoroughly saturated in it, because when I blink my eyes open, Link is there, leaving a trail of open-mouthed kisses down my body. His blue eyes glance up at me as he goes, and I note that he’s blissfully naked. I groan when he licks down my stomach, nibbling on my hip bones gently.

“Did they do okay when you left?” I croak out, just needing to know before I completely let go and can enjoy myself.

“They did just fine, Sunshine. Didn’t even pay me any attention once they got to Jillian’s,” he murmurs, not stopping what he’s doing.

He taps my thigh when he gets lower and I open for him, shivering at the tingles that erupt along my thighs when he slots himself between them and wraps them around his arms, dragging me closer to his face. He groans, a purr rattling in his chest when he sees my slick-soaked thighs and center.

“Mine,” he says gruffly, before he runs his tongue between my lips and circles it around my throbbing clit.

I cry out when he latches on and sucks, inserting a finger and curling it upwards. My back arches, sweat coating my skin as another wave of heat flushes through my system.

After nearly two years without a heat, my body seems gung ho to get this party started. Quickly. I might have been wrong about Link being able to take care of me until Rion and Forde get home. I ache for them all right now. To taste. To touch. Tofuckme.

Link eats me like a man starved until I’m screaming his name, twisting my hands in the fabrics surrounding me. I’ve been begging for his knot for the last several minutes, but he’s refused, despite how painfully hard his cock looks when I glance down as he notches himself at my entrance. Eyes locking with mine, he slams into me hard, knocking the breath out of me, and my hands come up to grip his biceps as he tries his damndest to fuck me through the foam mattress that covers the entire floor. Not that I’m complaining.

He grips my head, looking me deep in the eyes as his hips pump into me, and the intensity that shines out of them nearly brings tears to my eyes. The way this man loves me is amazing, and I’m so beyond grateful that I stopped fighting my pull to him.

“I love you, Alpha,” I pant against his lips, and he growls.

“I love you too, Omega. So godsdamn much it hurts.”

He kisses me, and every nerve ending inside of my body sings. Each time he pulls back only to slam into me harder, stars dance behind my eyes. He pushes his arms beneath mine, resting his forearms against my back as his hands grip my shoulders, holding me to him tight. My nipples rub against him as he ruts into me, cock thrusting in and out of me at such a fast pace that I can barely catch a breath.

I’m burning up now, my veins lighting on fire as Link works me over, pushing me closer and closer to Nirvana. My pleas and cries of pleasure only make him fuck me harder, like he’s on a mission, and maybe he is. Whatever it is, it’s amazing and I crave more.

His knot swells, pressing against my opening as he swivels his hips, teasing me and making me growl. His eyes flash when I do, and he turns a feral grin on me that makes me clench around him as I try to take what I want if he won’t give it to me.
