ChapterForty-One

RAMSEY

Three weeksafter they turn a month old, the triplets graduate from the NICU, and I finally get to bring them home.

Rion, Forde, and Jilly have to work when it’s time for me to pick them up, so Link is taking me to get them in my car. I can’t stop fidgeting and bouncing my legs the entire drive and Link chuckles, reaching over to place his hand on my knee and stop my leg from bouncing a hole through the floorboard.

“We’re almost there, Sunshine,” he says, grinning at me.

I laugh and smile, shrugging at him.

“I’m just so excited. I can’t wait to have them right across the hall from me. It’s going to be so wonderful not to have to come to the hospital every day, too.”

“I know what you mean. Is it weird I’m as excited as you are? I miss them like crazy every time we have to leave them, or when I don’t get to come for a visit with you. I’m ready to get up at night when they’re hungry or need a change.”

His cheeks darken as his excitement levels reach mine and I bite my lip. It’s so fucking sexy that he wants to get up at night if my babies cry, to take care of them like they’re his own. My perfume floods the car as I stare over at him, clenching my thighs as my panties get uncomfortably wet.

His nostrils flare and when he parks, he glances over at me with hooded eyes filled with so many promises that I can’t wait for him to fulfill.

I’ve been cleared by my doctor for a week now, and I know that at least two of them were cleared from their doctor as far as if their swimmers are swimming. Which means these alphas are about to have to stop holding back. I crave them all so badly, their touches are like an addiction that I can’t get enough of. Every one of them has been teasing me ever since I went bananas and sucked Rion’s cock and then let him cum all over my leaking breasts.

To make matters worse, they’ve been very adept at avoiding letting me tease them back.

That’s right.

There’s been no more blowjobs since that glorious night, and honestly, it’s kind of fucking rude.

But all of that is going to change tonight.

As soon as we’re home and I have the babies fed, changed, and asleep, someone is fucking me. I don’t care if it’s one or all of them, but they’re getting with the program.

Link and I get out of the car, car seats in tow, and head up to get the triplets. My excitement is back tenfold when I walk in and see them all dressed and ready to go. I immediately pick up the closest baby to snuggle, and it just so happens to be my little Birdie. Her soft hair tickles my cheek and I smile against her forehead.

Link scoops the boys both up, something he’s gotten very good at over the last several weeks. I’m kind of jealous, but also too scared to attempt it myself. Knowing my luck, I’d drop one or both if I tried, and feel like the shittiest mom in the world, so best not to even try. He gives them each a kiss on the top of their heads and I melt.

Swoon.

There’s just something unbelievably attractive about a gorgeous man holding a baby. Or babies, in this case.

“I hear three of our littlest superstars are breaking out of this popsicle stand,” Cara, the nurse I met the first time I could see the babies, says as she walks up to us with a smile.

“That’s what I hear,” I tell her with a grin.

“I sure am going to miss these three. They’ve been the best babies in here, but don’t tell the others I said that,” she whispers with a wink.

“Your secret is safe with me,” I whisper back.

“Let me just go get all their paperwork and their discharge started. Also, if you don’t mind, we’d like a picture of the three of them for our wall. All of our NICU graduates go on the wall of fame when they finally leave us. It’s tradition,” she says, pointing over to a wall at the entrance that’s filled with pictures of tiny babies.

“Of course!”

She leaves us to get the babies ready to go, and Link and I sit for some cuddle time while we wait.

“I love the way they smell,” he says, and when I look over, I catch him sniffing the boys.

“I know. They still have that new baby smell mixed with their little scents, and I’m obsessed with smelling them,” I tell him with a chuckle, unable to keep myself from kissing Birdie again.

“I think Fisher looks like you,” he says, smiling over at me.
