“That smells divine, Lan,” she breathes out, coming to help me take the plates to the small table, but Forest beats her to it and grabs them before she can. “Forest.” Her tone is censorious, even as she smiles.

“You are our guest, sugar, so sit that beautiful ass down and let us wait on you like the queen you clearly are,” he teases, but I know that he means every damn word. She is a queen, our queen, and I intend to worship at her feet for as long as she’ll let me. Even after that. I’m not above strapping her down.

“I am no such thing,” she protests, but we just ignore her, Forest ushering her into a seat.

“Here’s your steak, Duchess,” I tell her, setting her plate in front of her and then gripping her chin with my thumb and finger, tilting her face upwards before placing a lingering kiss on her plump lips. God, she’s so fucking addictive, I could spend eternity kissing her and it wouldn’t be enough.

“T–thank you.” She shivers when I finally release her, claiming the seat next to hers.

“I want to see you eat it all. You need the protein,” I instruct her, admiring the flush to her cheeks and the way her pupils widen at my commands.

She licks her lips, looking through her lashes at me. “Yes, sir.”

My nostrils flare and my dick instantly hardens.

“Fuck me, sugar,” Forest rasps, and I couldn’t agree more.

“She eats first,” Blaine growls as he comes striding into the room, his lips still a little puffy. He heads straight for her, even though the spare seat is between Forest and I. “Hola, mi amorsita.” His voice is a deep rumble that has blood rushing down to my already painfully hard cock.

Bending down, he kisses her like she’s the air he needs to breathe and I can’t even be pissed at the steaks getting cold. There’s something about them that’s mesmerising, and I’m unable to look away as she sinks into the kiss, her tongue chasing his. His large palms engulf her petite face, her hands clutching the front of his tee as if it’s the only thing tethering her to this world.

Slowly, reluctantly, he pulls away, and I watch as she takes a shuddering inhale, like she’s trying to commit his kiss to memory because she may not get more. I’ll make damn sure she never goes without though.

“Hello, Blaine,” she whispers, her blonde lashes fluttering as her eyes open.

“Now eat your lunch,mi tesoro. It’s getting cold.” He places a light kiss to her nose, then straightens up and walks around the table to his seat opposite her.

Taking a deep inhale, she grabs hold of her cutlery and cuts a sliver of steak off, bringing it up to her lips, and her eyelids flutter as soon as it’s in her mouth. Jesus fucking Christ.

“That good, huh?” I tease, and her cheeks flush even as she nods.

“If you keep feeding me, I’ll soon be the size of a house.” She laughs, taking a sip of water before cutting another bite.

“Good, all the more to grab hold of,” Forest tells her, and I can’t stifle my chuckle when her eyes widen and she almost chokes on her food.

The rest of lunch passes with her telling us all about her morning at the Pound, and of Forest’s plans now that he has some capital behind him. Although I was against her donating that much to start with, I can’t deny how much pleasure Forest will get finally being able to change the Pound and make it into a happy place for any strays. It’s not lost on me that’s how he’s always felt, Blaine too. Like unloved strays, dumped and forgotten by the people who should have loved them.

“And our angel here has agreed to sing at Maria’s next Saturday,” Forest states, and I blink.

“What about your parents?” I ask, hating the way she starts to curl in on herself at the mere mention of them.

“They’ll never find out, how would they? They don’t come to this side of the tracks,” Forest reasons, placing a hand on her thigh and rubbing it while giving me a dirty look.

“Forest says Blaine will be there too,” she says, her fingers toying with the hem of her sweater. Blaine raises a single brow. “We’ll need to practice.” She looks at him, her eyes wide and hopeful, and I feel even more like an asshole for mentioning her folks.

“Si, mi tesoro.” Blaine inclines his head. I don’t blame him though, I wouldn’t be able to resist her doe eyes either.

Her smile is like fucking starlight, and when she turns to me, I’m captivated in a way that I know I will never forget.

“As Forest says, my parents will never find out, and I’d love to sing for myself, just once. Please, Lan?” Fucking hell, I knew those bright eyes would be irresistible.

“Of course, Duchess,” I cave, laughing and catching her as she launches herself at me.

“Thank you, Lan,” she whispers against my ear, and I pull her tighter to me, just for a moment.

“You don’t need to thank me, Duchess. You didn’t need my permission,” I tell her as she pulls away to look into my eyes.

“But I wanted it. It’s important to me that you approve.” She nibbles her lip, releasing me and sitting back down in her seat, her blush deepening the longer I remain silent.
