“Killian taught me how to control my breathing better and he also made me sprint a mile. Not jog but sprint! I was dying!” Reign exclaims.
“Sounds like he worked you out,” Kyra says with a small smile.
Malcom’s face turns red, and a vein looks like it’s going to pop from his forehead.
“Hello Pierces!” a deep voice yells from the hallway.
A boy with platinum blonde hair walks in the dining room.
Who does this guy think he is walking around with that hair?
Alexander would dye his hair to make it lighter because he thinks he’s like some fucking hotshot when in reality he just looks like a fucking college frat boy who drinks to fill his liver.
“Jamie!” Malcom smiles for the first time since I walked in the room.
I’ve known about Jamie for a while. He is one of Reign’s best friends but that’s only because Malcolm and his dad are best friends. I also happen to know that Malcom wants Reign to marry this prick, but Reign would never do that because she only sees him as a friend, a brother even.
Doesn’t mean I don’t like or despise him any less.
Jamie is a college frat boy wannabe that happens to know how to hack like fucking Kevin Mitnick. He knows his shit for being so young. He’s enrolled at All Assassins Academy going on his last year before he graduates and starts working with the family.
“Malcom, pleasure as always.” Jamie smiles at Malcom before coming around to Reign and resting his hands on her chair. I eye his hands near her back and refrain from breaking all his fingers off so he never fucking hacks again. “Feel like getting in some trouble today?”
“What kind of trouble?” Reign smiles at Jamie.
“The best kind. How do you feel about paintball?” Jamie asks with a teasing smile.
Reign’s smile widens. “I think it sounds like fun.” She turns her head to look at me. “Killian, what do you think?” I look at Jamie who stares at me with a skeptical look. I shrug before taking a last bite of my breakfast. “That’s not a good enough answer.” Reign looks back at Jamie. “Can Killian come?”
Jamie leans away from Reign’s chair and raises an eyebrow at me. “Who are you anyway?”
“Killian De Luca. He is gracing us with his annoying presence for the next few weeks until I figure out how to get rid of him,” Malcom says, back to glaring at me.
“You’re a pleasure to spend time with, Malcolm. I’ll make sure to get you a dad’s Day gift since you’re basically taking over.”
Jamie gives Malcom a look and Malcom just clenches his fists around his utensils, still acting like a fucking toddler.
I swear Landon, my nephew, acts better than him.
“Killian’s new to Bulgaria and I want to show him around,” Reign says with that fucking smile on her face.
“I guess it's fine. I’ll just have to tell the rest of the group.”
“I’m sure they’ll be okay with it,” Reign says, giving me an assuring smile.
Doubt it.

Killian
I didn’t wantto do anything today.
I was planning on staying in the house all day and catching up on work or texting my Star.
My Star being Reign, but she doesn’t know that.
Lia gave me some casual clothes that Malcom doesn’t wear anymore. Malcom glared at me when I walked out of the house and then I heard him and Lia arguing about me before leaving.
