I was speechless as I stared back at him.
“We’ll see you later, Drake, not like a duck,” he said, humor in his voice.
He led her away, but not before she called out to me, her voice laced with exhaustion.
“See you later, Ducky.”
I chuckled softly as they disappeared into the darkness.
Ducky.
Maybe she didn’t hate me after all.
And maybe I really wanted to do that again, even if it meant it could get my ass killed.
CHAPTER 15
Bianca
I’d done something bad.
I twisted my hands in my lap as I watched Dominic talk with the guys. Fallon still hadn’t come into the room, and I was beginning to worry about what was wrong with him.
Despite the worries over Fallon, I kept looking at Vincent, hoping he’d offer me some relief. Guilt was sucking my soul as the memory of last night kept replaying in my head.
Drake’s lips on mine. His hands. Vincent’s tongue as he licked and sucked me to completion.
“Right, B?” Vincent called out.
I blinked at him. “What?”
He chuckled. “I said we went for a walk last night on the grounds. Looked at the stars.”
My face heated.
“Um. . .”
“Leave it to Vin to take you on a moonlit stroll,” Levin snorted.
Vincent grinned and flipped him off.
“We need to decide what we’re going to do,” Dominic said, smiling at me. He sat beside me on the bed and held my hand inhis. “We can’t live with the horsemen forever. We either face the music at Bolten, or we say fuck it and leave it behind and fight from somewhere else.”
“Like the Bahamas, because fuck Chicago,” Vincent said, glancing outside to the rainy day.
There was a soft knock on the door, and Fallon stepped into the room.
“Fallon?” I stared dumbfounded as he came in. “What happened?”
His face was black and blue and swollen. He looked like he’d been dragged behind a bus.
“Hey, princess,” he greeted, coming straight for me. He settled in beside me and took my other hand in his.
“Are you going to tell me. . .?”
He looked to Dominic through his swollen eyelids.
“Fallon is a king,” Dominic said.
