Fallon reached over and turned on some music, filling the silence with the sounds of some rock band I didn’t recognize. The remainder of the ride continued that way. Except every now and then, Fallon would say something unimportant, and Vincent would answer him. I tuned them out as I stared out the window, my body completely aware Bianca was mere feet from me, and I couldn’t talk to her. I knew Dominic well enough to know he’d wrestle me out onto the highway for even looking at her.

But fuck, I wanted to.

It had taken everything I had not to turn around to stare at her. To reach for her. To crawl my ass into the back and drag her away from Dominic and into my arms.

She’s not your girl, asswad.

Fuck, but imagine if she was.

I let out a sigh and rubbed my face, catching Vincent’s eye in the mirror again.

Fallon called out directions, and before long, we were pulling into Doctor Carson’s facility. Vincent parked us at the back door.

“We’re here,” Fallon said, turning to look at Dominic. I couldn’t help myself. I turned too.

Dominic brushed his lips across the top of Bianca’s head as she nestled against his chest, her eyes closed.

“Wasp,” he murmured. “Baby, we’re here.”

She opened her eyes, exhaustion on her pretty face. The blue pools snapped to me, making my heart jump.

She blinked as Dominic shot me a glare and tilted her head up to take her attention from me.

Asshole.

He kissed her, his tongue gliding along hers.

I looked away, anger and jealousy flaring in my chest.

Fallon shot me a warning look before getting out of the car. I turned my attention back to the window and stared outside, watching for anything suspicious. Dominic led Bianca out of the back and helped her from the Escalade.

The moment her feet touched the ground, Fallon took her hand in his as Dominic wound his arm around her waist.

Lucky pricks.

They disappeared inside the building, leaving just Vincent and me behind. I watched as Vincent got out of the front and moved to the back to sit in the other seat next to mine.

“You need to get yourself in check,” he said solemnly.

I blinked at him. “What?”

“With B. You look like she’s your favorite toy, and you’ve been grounded on Christmas from playing with it.”

I licked my lips.

I’d been too fucking obvious.

“Relax,” Vincent said, waving me off. “I already know.”

“You. . . know?” I crinkled my brows.

“Yeah. You and my B. You slept together.”

My gun was at my side. I had two blades on me and a fuck ton of strength. I could handle Vincent Valentino. . .

“I’m not going to beat your ass,” he continued like he was a mind reader.

“She told you?”
